I hope you are well :D as today is Monday I dress in green, so play something to say about TV and as it is my first time talking about this topic I want to do it about the last series I saw (which by the way, I recommend them 100%). It's nothing more and nothing less than THE CROWN, the drama that tells the story of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. As this television drama is still in production of what is predicted to be a fifth season by 2022, in this section I will summarize what the first 4 seasons were. The date for the sixth is not yet known since its creator Peter Morgan announced at the beginning of the series that there would be 6 seasons in total that would cover the life of the English royalty. So, I hope you enjoy it!

FIRST SEASON
FIRST SEASON 
Unlike the other seasons, the 10 chapters were written in their entirety by Peter Morgan. After that, Morgan had already developed the film The Queen in 2006 with Helen Mirren in the role of Queen Elizabeth II, and in 2013 the play The Audience, also starring Mirren based on the meetings with her prime ministers. Both projects emphasized the production of the award-winning series that began in 2016.

With a score of 81/100 in Metacritic, the season was praised by critics and won numerous awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Dramatic Television Series in the 2017 ceremony.
On a personal note, this season is excellent, with impeccable performances by Claire Foy as the Queen, Vanessa Kirby as Margaret, Matt Smith as the Queen's husband, Eileen Atkins as Queen Mary and John Lithgow as Churchill. This is the lowest rated season to date by television critics.
SECOND SEASON
SECOND SEASON 
The series continues and the second season (in my opinion) is the hottest one yet, especially because of the artistically sensual scene shown in chapter 7. It also delves into Margaret's suffering from marriage, as well as the emotional plunges of Elizabeth's relationship with Philip.
Here are some of the events covered during the second season:
1 - The Suez Crisis.
2 - Birth of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.
3 - Death of President John F. Kennedy
4 - Philip's tragic childhood.
5 - Discovery of the Nazi past of King Edward VIII, who intended to overthrow the monarchy with the help of Hitler.
6 - Margaret's wedding with photographer Tony Armstrong-Jones.
With a score of 87/100 in Metacritic, it is the best score of the whole series to date. It earned Claire Foy the Actors' Union award for her performance in the 2018 ceremony, the series was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Dramatic Television Series but the award went to The Handmaid's Tale on the Hulu network.
What I love about this season is Vanessa Kirby's outstanding performance, especially her tragic romance.
THIRD SEASON
THIRD SEASON 
The third season (in my opinion) is the most boring of all. Some episodes are cautious and striking, although there are others in which I was forced to finish it in order to follow the plot. I still don't know if it was because of the change of actors (although obviously necessary for the old age of each one of them), or because the events didn't attract much attention from me.
Here are some of the events covered during the third season:
1 - The death of Winston Churchill in 1965.
2 - The death of the Duke of Windsor (formerly King Edward VIII) in 1972.
3 - The unmasking of the Soviet spies who had intruded into Buckingham Palace.
4 - The coal mine disaster in Wales that resulted in 144 deaths.
5 - The moon landing of Apollo 11.
6 - First appearance of Camilla Shand, the love of Prince Charles.
7 - Princess Margaret's suicide attempt after her divorce.
The performances of Helena Bonham Carter and Olivia Colman (who won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV drama series in the 2020 ceremony), are simply great. The actors show an incredibly surprising level of maturity and I would say that what saved this season was not the events that occurred, but the performances of each of the cast. Metacritic gave it a score of 84/100. The season won the Actors' Union Award at the 2020 gala in the category of Best Dramatic Television Cast.
FOURTH SEASON
FOURTH SEASON 
The fourth season, which in turn has been the most criticized of those already released, in my personal opinion, is the best of all. Not only because of Emma Corrin's iconic performance in the role of Diane of Wales and Gillian Anderson's majesty in playing the tough role of the female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Margaret Thatcher, but also because of the incredible staging of the events and the development of the cast in general.
Here are some of the events covered during the fourth season:
1 - The beginning and end of Margaret Thatcher's term as Prime Minister (1979-1990), the longest period of time a Prime Minister has served in the 20th century.
2 - The beginning of Diana Spencer's relationship and her marriage to Prince Charles Presents the birth of William and Henry.
3 - The death of Lord Mountbatten.
4 - Charles' infidelities with Camilla and Diana's lovers.
5 - Diana's health problems.
6 - The Falklands War.
7 - Michael Fagan's intrusion into Buckingham Palace
With a score of 85/100, The Crown continues to establish itself as one of today's best fact based dramas. It is also the only season that royalty have criticized, especially the Prince of Wales for the hard life of his ex-wife and the mistreatment she received from him. In fact, a few days ago one of the former butlers of the late princess argued that she was more unhappy than shown in the series.

Espero estén bien :D como hoy es lunes me visto de verde, así que toca algo qué decir sobre la TV y como es mi primera vez hablando de este tema quiero hacerlo sobre la última serie que vi (que por cierto, se las recomiendo al 100%). Es nada mas y nada menos que THE CROWN, el drama que relata el reinado de la Reina Isabel II. Como este drama televisivo aún se encuentra en producción de lo que se prevé habrá una quinta temporada para el 2022, en este apartado abarcaré de manera resumida lo que fueron las 4 primeras temporadas. Aún no se sabe la fecha para la sexta ya que su creador Peter Morgan anunció al comienzo de la serie que serían 6 temporadas en total las que abarcarían la vida de la realeza inglesa. De ese modo, ¡espero lo disfruten!

PRIMERA TEMPORADA
PRIMERA TEMPORADA
A diferencia de las demás temporadas, los 10 capítulos fueron escritos en su totalidad por Peter Morgan. Posterior a ello, Morgan ya había desarrollado la película The Queen en el año 2006 con Helen Mirren en el papel de la Reina Isabel II, y en el año 2013 la obra teatral titulada The Audience, también protagonizada por Mirren basada en las reuniones con sus primeros ministros. Ambos proyectos dieron hincapié a la producción de la galardonada serie iniciada en el año 2016.

Con una puntuación de 81/100 en Metacritic, la temporada fue elogiada por la crítica y le valió numerosos premios, entre ellos un Globo de Oro a la Mejor Serie de Televisión de Drama en la ceremonia del 2017.
En lo personal, esta temporada es excelente, con las actuaciones impecables de Claire Foy como la reina, Vanessa Kirby como Margarita, Matt Smith como el esposo de la reina, Eileen Atkins como la Reina María y John Lithgow como Churchill. Esta es la temporada menos puntuada hasta la fecha por parte de la crítica televisiva.

SEGUNDA TEMPORADA
La serie continua y la segunda temporada (en mi opinión) es la más candente de todas hasta la fecha, en especial por la escena artísticamente sensual mostrada en el capítulo 7. Además, se adentra en el sufrimiento de Margarita por el matrimonio, al igual que los desplomes emocionales de la relación de Isabel con Felipe.
A continuación algunos de los sucesos abarcados durante la segunda temporada:
1 - La crisis de Suez.
2 - Nacimiento del Príncipe Andrés y del Príncipe Eduardo.
3 - Muerte del presidente John F. Kennedy.
4 - La trágica infancia de Felipe.
5 - Descubrimiento del pasado Nazi del rey Eduardo VIII, quien tenía intenciones de derrocar a la monarquía con la ayuda de Hitler.
6 - Boda de Margarita con el fotógrafo Tony Armstrong-Jones.
Con una puntuación de 87/100 en Metacritic, es la mejor puntuada de toda la serie hasta la fecha. Le valió el premio del Sindicato de Actores a Claire Foy por su actuación en la ceremonia del 2018, la serie también fue nominada al Globo de Oro a la Mejor Serie de Televisión de Drama pero el premio se lo llevó The Handmaid's Tale de la cadena Hulu.
Lo que me encanta de esta temporada es la destacada actuación de Vanessa Kirby, sobretodo su trágico romance.
TERCERA TEMPORADA
TERCERA TEMPORADA
La tercera temporada (en mi opinión) es la más aburrida de todas. Algunos episodios son cautelosos y llamativos, aunque hay otros en los que me vi obligado a tener que terminarlo para seguir la trama, aún no sé si fue por el cambio de actores (aunque obviamente necesarios para la vejez de cada uno de ellos), o porque los acontecimientos no llamaron mucho mi atención.
A continuación algunos de los sucesos abarcados durante la tercera temporada:
1 - La muerte de Winston Churchill en 1965.
2 - La muerte del Duque de Windsor (anteriormente Rey Eduardo VIII) en 1972.
3 - El desenmascaro de los espías soviéticos entrometidos en el Palacio de Buckingham.
4 - La catástrofe de la mina de carbón en Gales que tuvo como consecuencia 144 muertes.
5 - El alunizaje de Apolo 11.
6 - Primera aparición de Camila Shand, el amor del Príncipe Carlos.
7 - Intento de suicidio de la Princesa Margarita tras su divorcio.
Las actuaciones de Helena Bonham Carter y Olivia Colman (la cual ganó el Globo de Oro a la Mejor actriz en una serie de televisión de drama en la ceremonia del 2020),son simplemente grandiosas. Los actores muestran un nivel de madurez increíblemente sorprendente y diría que lo que salvó esta temporada no fueron los hechos ocurridos, si no las actuaciones de cada uno del reparto. Metacritic le dio una puntuación de 84/100. La temporada se llevó el Premio al Sindicato de Actores en la gala del 2020 en la categoría de Mejor reparto de televisión de drama.

CUARTA TEMPORADA
La cuarta temporada, que a su vez ha sido la más criticada de las ya estrenadas, en mi opinión personal, es la mejor de todas. No solo por la icónica actuación de Emma Corrin en el papel de Diana de Gales y la majestuosidad de Gillian Anderson al haber hecho el duro papel de la Primera Ministra mujer del Reino Unido, Margaret Thatcher, si no por la increíble puesta en escena de los acontecimientos y el desarrollo del reparto en general.
A continuación algunos de los sucesos abarcados durante la cuarta temporada:
1 - Inicio y fin del periodo de Margaret Thatcher como Primera Ministra (1979-1990) siendo el periodo de tiempo más largo ejercido por un primer ministro durante el siglo XX.
2 - Inicio de la relación y boda de Diana Spencer con el Príncipe Carlos. Presenta el nacimiento de Gillermo y Enrique.
3 - La muerte de Lord Mountbatten.
4 - Infidelidades por parte de Carlos con Camila y los amantes de Diana.
5 - Los problemas de salud de Diana.
6 - La Guerra de las Malvinas.
7 - La intrusión de Michael Fagan al Palacio de Buckingham.
Con una puntuación de 85/100, The Crown sigue consolidándose como una de los mejores dramas de la actualidad basada en hechos reales. Además, es la única temporada que la realeza criticó, especialmente el Príncipe de Gales por la dura vida de su ex-esposa y los maltratos que esta recibía por parte de él.
