Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive, si han estado atentos a lo que he estado subiendo últimamente, notarán que está es la 2da parte de un post para analizar estar 3 joyas de películas dirigidas por Jordan Peele, si quieres leer la primera parte acá te dejo el Link para que puedas disfrutarla también, en ese post analizo en aspectos generales la película "Get Out". Aviso que cada uno de estos análisis contienen spoilers de las películas, es por ello que te recomiendo verlas primero antes de querer leer este post.
Hello to all the Hive community, if you have been paying attention to what I have been uploading lately, you will notice that this is the 2nd part of a post to analyze 3 jewels of movies directed by Jordan Peele, if you want to read the first part here I leave you the link so you can enjoy it too, in that post I analyze in general aspects the movie "Get Out". Warning that each of these analysis contain spoilers of the movies, that's why I recommend you to watch them first before you want to read this post.

La película nosotros es la segunda entrega de Jordan peele, luego del gran éxito que tuvo huye, una película aún más ambiciosa que la anterior y con una trama también bastante distinta. La película nos centra en los Estados Unidos donde una familia afroamericana decide pasar las vacaciones en un lugar bastante apartado, sin embargo pronto se darán cuenta de que empezará la pesadilla más grande de sus vidas. Si ya has tenido la oportunidad de haber visto la película de nosotros anteriormente, notarás que desde el principio esta película apuesta por ser algo diferente, lo cual no es muy impresionante tratándose de el director Jordan Peele, ya que no es de esas películas cliché donde te hablan de lo mismo y utilizan el mismo recurso de scream o de asustarte sorpresivamente para generarle un susto al espectador, que para muchos puede que sea divertido, pero para otros no hay nada mejor que una historia bien contada que te ponga los pelos de punta, sin necesidad de un susto imprevisto, claramente no podemos dejar de lado el Plot Twist del final que al igual que Huye, tampoco me lo esperaba.
Luego de que esta familia decide alejarse y disfrutar un poco de sus vacaciones, cuándo cae la noche se darán cuenta de que tienen frente a ellos a una amenaza que pondrá en riesgo a sus familias, estos amenazadores logran irrumpir su casa y finalmente se dan cuenta de que no son más que ellos mismos, (sí, es un tanto extraño pero la trama te atrapa hasta el final) pero vestidos con unas bragas rojas y que a pesar de que físicamente son iguales, sí se puede notar que son menos inteligentes en ciertos aspectos, y luego notaremos que tienen más fuerza he incluso rapidez u otras habilidades. Eso sí, ninguno se puede comunicar como tal, salvo la personaje principal, y la verdad es que actúan muy diferente a como lo haría una persona común, y esto le da un detalle más espeluznante al asunto.
The movie us is the second installment of Jordan Peele, after the great success of Get Out, a film even more ambitious than the previous one and with a plot also quite different. The film centers us in the United States where an African-American family decides to spend the vacations in a quite secluded place, however soon they will realize that the biggest nightmare of their lives will begin. If you have already had the opportunity to have seen the movie of us before, you will notice that from the beginning this movie bets to be something different, which is not very impressive being the director Jordan Peele, since it is not one of those cliché movies where they talk about the same thing and use the same resource of scream or scare you surprisingly to generate a scare to the viewer, which for many may be fun, but for others there is nothing better than a well-told story that makes your hair stand on end, without the need for an unforeseen scare, clearly we can not leave aside the Plot Twist at the end that like Get Out, I did not expect it either.
After this family decides to get away and enjoy a little of their vacation, when night falls they realize that they have in front of them a threat that will put their families at risk, these menacing manage to break into their house and finally realize that they are nothing more than themselves, (yes, it is somewhat strange but the plot grabs you until the end) but dressed in red uniforms and that although physically they are the same, you can notice that they are less intelligent in certain aspects, and then we will notice that they have more strength and even speed or other skills. Of course, none of them can communicate as such, except for the main character, and the truth is that they act very differently to how an ordinary person would, and this gives a more creepy detail to the story.

El soundtrack al igual que la película de huye también es algo espectacular, a pesar de que no es mejor que su antecesora en este aspecto, sí que te logra dar una sensación de misterio lo cual es excelente para este tipo de películas. En cuanto a la dirección, fotografía, efectos especiales y todos esos estos detalles, me parecieron bastante buenos ya que se puede notar que en rasgos generales tuvieron más recursos o presupuesto para realizarla, y esto se deja mucho en evidencia durante todo el rodaje de la película, ya que si bien su película anterior no nos mostraba tantos escenarios y carecía de efectos, en esta se le nota por mucho que es aún más ambiciosa pero no por ello mejor.
Lo que sí debo dejar en claro como opinión personal, es que las actuaciones en la película fueron a mi parecer superiores a huye, ya que los actores tuvieron un desafío bastante complejo al interpretar a su personaje principal y a su doble enemigo en la película, lo cual imagino que fué todo un proceso aún más difícil para ellos, al menos para Lupita Nyong'o quien se lleva todo el mérito por su increíble trabajo, y esto se evidencia en los dos premios como mejor actriz que obtuvo en los NAACP imagen award y los New York film critics.
The soundtrack, like the film of "Get Out" is also something spectacular, although it is not better than its predecessor in this aspect, it manages to give you a sense of mystery which is excellent for this type of film. As for the direction, photography, special effects and all these details, I thought they were pretty good because you can tell that in general they had more resources or budget to make it, and this is very evident throughout the shooting of the film, because while his previous film did not show us so many scenarios and lacked effects, in this one you can see that it is even more ambitious but not better.
What I must make clear as a personal opinion, is that the performances in the film were in my opinion superior to Get out, since the actors had a very complex challenge to play their main character and their double enemy in the film, which I imagine was an even more difficult process for them, at least for Lupita Nyong'o who takes all the credit for her incredible work, and this is evident in the two awards for best actress she won at the NAACP image award and the New York film critics.
Plot Twist.

Tal y como la película huye este también tiene su plot twist, el cual me tomó por sorpresa no les voy a mentir. Se nos muestra que Adelaide en realidad era la doble que vivía en esta especie de espacio subterráneo junto a los demás, pero en cuanto tuvo su oportunidad de oro no dudó en intercambiarse, y luego nos dejan en claro que todo esto no fue más que un experimento del gobierno de los Estados Unidos para poder controlar a las personas, pero al final no le resultó bien y dejaron a estos dobles debajo de la tierra. Y pues sí, es bastante sorprendente la verdad, puede que lo ponga al mismo nivel que el de huye pero admito que este me impresionó un poco más, ya que ver a la que nosotros creíamos que en realidad era la buena, resulta y acontece que nos presentan un paradigma completamente distinto y nos deja a nuestro propio criterio a quién apoyar, en este caso ¿el fin cuestiona los medios?, tal vez, pero sin duda nos deja un sabor amargo en la boca ver cómo en realidad se nos presenta un tema que fácilmente puede entrar en debate, en saber cuál de las dos tiene la razón.
Just as the movie "Get out" this one also has its plot twist, which took me by surprise I'm not going to lie to you. We are shown that Adelaide was actually the double who lived in this kind of subway space with the others, but as soon as she had her golden opportunity she did not hesitate to swap, and then we are made clear that all this was nothing more than an experiment by the U.S. government to control people, but in the end it did not work out well and they left these doubles under the ground. And yes, it is quite surprising, I may put it at the same level as the one of fleeing but I admit that this one impressed me a little more, since seeing the one we thought was really the good one, it turns out and happens that we are presented with a completely different paradigm and leaves us to our own discretion who to support, in this case, the end questions the means, maybe, but it certainly leaves a bitter taste in our mouth to see how we are actually presented with an issue that can easily enter into debate, to know which of the two is right.
Cosas que no me gustaron.

Dentro de las cosas que no me gustaron de la película, pudiese destacar el hecho de que a pesar de que la trama resultaba atractiva, no me termina de convencer del todo y el final la verdad es que deja mucho que desear y a pesar de que es un final abierto, existen agujeros de guión, dónde al intentar querer responder una pregunta dejan al aire muchas más.

Among the things I didn't like about the movie, I could highlight the fact that although the plot was attractive, it doesn't convince me at all and the ending leaves much to be desired and although it is an open ending, there are holes in the script, where when trying to answer a question they leave many more unanswered.

Suena interesante, Nope fue mi favorito en los trabajos de Peele como director y hasta hice una reseña tanto a su estilo de dirección como al filme, pero no habia realmente mirado ese aspecto de Us que nos mencionas, pues si bien existen muchos agujeros de guion jamas habia considerado que estos pudieran suspender el sentimiento de inmersión y por ende sentirse como algo abandonado y demas.
Creo que para aquellos que al final de cada película nos dedicamos a analizar a detalle, esos agujeros de guión incomodan un poco, pero no por ello es una mala película ni mucho menos, de hecho, considero que fué muy ambiciosa y acertada, saludos
Ambiciosa es poco, tiene varios saltos gigantes de logica y me sorprenden todo el tiempo...
No he visto ni Us ni Nope, pero llegue a ver get out y desde ahí Jordan Peele me parece genial, tiene una estilo de dirección bastante original y le agrega una esencia cool a cada uno de sus trabajos, un genio!
