These days I have been very active watching several movies and TV series, with several I have been satisfied and with other productions not so much. The last series I watched was My Life with the Walter Boys, a UK Netflix series directed by Jerry Ciccoritti, Winnifred Jong, Nimisha Mukerji and Jason Priestley, which was released last year its first season. It is of the romance and teen drama genre, based on Ali Novak's novel of the same name. I must confess that I am not much of a series watcher, I like anime and movies more, but seeing that it was available and as it is one of my favorite genres, I decided to watch it and today I am going to tell you a little about this production according to my personal opinion.
My Life with the Walter Boys, as I said, is a romance and drama series, based on the Wattapp novel written by the aforementioned author. The plot tells us about a love triangle between two brothers Cole and Alex Walter, who both fall in love with young Jackie Howard, where the girl had a big change in her life after losing her whole family in an accident, having to move in with the Walter boys, who were very close friends of her mother. This series reminds me a lot of the series The Summer I Fell in Love, since both have a direct relationship in the main story of a love triangle between two brothers and a girl, although to be honest, this production is better adapted, it is even considered the best adaptation of Wattapp's novels and that's saying a lot. On this last point I totally agree.
Objectively speaking I can say that the series that I am commenting today is well adapted, even connect well with the story, spend a nice day, as it is my favorite genre. But, it is also true that it is more of the same of the movies and series that have come out of Wattapp, always the toxicity is present, of course we know that relationships can be like that, but they could also convey a different message to viewers and more when it comes to these productions are aimed at young people. Mi vida con los chicos Walter is a series with a cliché story and I think it has potential, but if it takes another direction and not the love triangle where a girl does not know who to choose from the brothers, today she is with one and tomorrow with another. Yes, the series shows us how teenagers can be, they don't usually make the best decisions, we are unstable, since at that stage we are usually emotionally unstable and we don't know how to act in those situations.

La última serie que vi fue Mi vida con los chicos Walter, una serie del Reino Unido de Netflix dirigida por Jerry Ciccoritti, Winnifred Jong, Nimisha Mukerji y Jason Priestley, y que fue estrenada el año pasado su primera temporada. La misma es del género de romance y drama juvenil, basada en la novela de Ali Novak bajo el mismo nombre. Debo confesar que no soy mucho de ver series, me gustan más los animes y las películas, pero al ver que estaba disponible y como es uno de mis géneros favoritos, decidí verla y el día de hoy les voy a contar un poco sobre esta producción de acuerdo a mi opinión personal.
Mi vida con los chicos Walter, como les dije es una serie de romance y drama, basada en la novela de Wattapp escrita por el auto ya mencionado. La trama nos habla de un triángulo amoroso entre dos hermanos Cole y Alex Walter, quienes ambos se enamora de la joven Jackie Howard, donde la chica tuvo un gran cambio en su vida tras perder a toda su familia en una accidente, debiéndose muda con los Walter, quienes eran amigos muy cercanos de su madre. Esta serie me hace recordar mucho a la serie El verano en que enamoré, ya que ambas tiene relación directa en la historia principal de un triángulo amoroso entre dos hermanos y una chica, aunque para ser sincero, esta producción está mejor adaptada, incluso es considerada como la mejor adaptación de novelas de Wattapp y eso mucho decir. En este último punto estoy totalmente de acuerdo.
Objetivamente hablando puedo decir que la serie que les estoy comentado hoy está bien adaptada, incluso conecte bien con la historia, pase un día agradable, ya que es de mi género favorito. Pero, también es cierto que es más de lo mismo de las películas y series que han sacado de Wattapp, siempre la toxicidad está presente, claro sabemos que las relaciones pueden llegar a ser así, pero también podrían trasmitir otro mensaje distinto para espectadores y más cuando se trata que estas producciones están dirigidas a los jóvenes. Mi vida con los chicos Walter es una serie con una historia cliché y creo que la misma tiene potencial, pero si toma otro rumbo y no el del triángulo amoroso donde una chica no sabe a quién elegir de los hermanos, hoy está con uno y mañana con otro. Sí, la serie nos muestra como pueden ser los adolescentes, no suelen tomar las mejores decisiones, somos inestable, ya que en esa etapa solemos ser inestables emocionalmente y no sabemos como actuar en esas situaciones.

On the other hand, we have Noah LaLonde, who gives life to Cole Walter, a boy who used to play football, an attractive boy who conquered all the girls in high school, he had a cocky behavior that many usually dislike, even he is not one of my favorite characters. Still, the actor did quite well, as did Rodriguez. Alex Walter was played by Ashby Gentry, a boy who likes to read books a lot, besides playing video games, it is one of his favorite times. He falls strongly in love with Jackie, even sincerely, unlike Cole, who at first was not so nice to the girl. In this type of series fans usually take a side in relation to who they want our protagonist to be. The latter is not my case, I prefer a good development of the story and characters and that in the next seasons they bring us new things and that the plot takes another direction.

Nikki Rodríguez quien le da vida a Jackie Howard, la protagonista de esta historia, una chica de 15 años que es casi perfecta, es muy inteligente, quiere ir a una de las mejores universidades, pero su vida se ve afectada cuando perdió a su familia en una accidente y debió mudarse con la familia Walter quienes tiene un total de 12 hijos. Pero a pesar de ello, es una familia muy unida, que claro que no es fácil tener esa cantidad de chicos y más porque sabemos el comportamiento que puede tener. Al principio la chica se le hace complicado adaptarse, pero poco a poco comienza a tomarle cariño a todos, incluso con dos de estos jóvenes aún más, ya que tiene una conexión con ellos y allí es donde comienza en triángulo amoroso.
Por otro lado, tenemos a Noah LaLonde, quien le da vida a Cole Walter, un chico que solía jugar futbol americano, un chico atractivo que conquistaba a todos las chicas del instituto, tenía un comportamiento engreído que a muchos les suele caer mal, incluso no es de mis personajes favoritos. I really don't know if the performances are ideal or perfect, what I do know is that I connect with the story and the characters, a good development of them, beyond the fact that the plot is similar to other movies or series that I have seen at some point.
What I did like about this series as a whole was the photography and the locations where the scenes were filmed. The story takes place in a town in Colorado, since our protagonist had to move to a small town when she lost her family and her guardianship passed to the Walter's. We see beautiful places, rivers, the countryside, animals, fauna and flora that we see in this class. This is only the first season of the series, quickly after its release last year, a second season was announced and that is where I hope it will change the course of the story and that it will be different from what we saw in other productions, with an ending that is the best possible. Do I recommend it? If you are a fan of the genre, you like romance series and youth drama, then this is an ideal series for you. If I had to give it a score it would be a 7.5/10, simply because of the plot that I have already seen series with a similar story in the main story, but otherwise it is a fairly acceptable production and that can become a success among fans of Wattapp's novels and this time of series.

Ambos son madres muy amorosas que quiere mucho a sus hijos, incluso algunos son como adoptados y se ve como estos no discriminan a ningunos, le dan el mismo cariño a todos. Realmente no sé si las actuaciones son las ideales o perfecto, lo que sí es que conecte con la historia y los personajes, un buen desarrollo de los mismos, más allá que trama sea simular a otras películas o series que haya visto en alguna oportunidad.
Lo que sí me gustó en su totalidad de esta serie fue la fotografía y los lugares donde se grabaron las escenas. La historia de desarrollo en un pueblo de colorado, ya que nuestra prota debió mudarse a un pequeño pueblo al perder a su familia y su tutela pasar a los Walter. Vemos sitios bastante hermosos, ríos, el campo, los animales, la fauna y flora que vemos en eso clase de lugar. Las series y películas que se desarrollan en sitios así, son de mis favoritas. La banda sonora es correcta, algunas músicas muy pegajosas y por momentos de drama, hay temas muy acorde al momento. Las escenas y la mayoría de los planos estuvieron muy bien plasmados y algo que noté de esta serie.
Final opinion
Debo decir que la serie Mi vida con los Chicos Walter no es mala, incluso es de las mejores adaptadas de los últimos tiempos de estas historias (novelas) de Wattapp, pero me la estaba distinta y no similar a otra serie que ya había visto. Esta apenas es la primera temporada de la serie, rápidamente luego de su salida en el año pasado, fue anunciada una segunda temporada y allí es donde espero que cambie el rumbo de la historia y que sea distinta a lo que vimos en otras producciones, con un final que sea el mejor posible. ¿La recomiendo? Si eres fanático de género, te gustan las series de romance y drama juvenil, pues es una serie ideal para ti. Si tendría que darle una puntuación sería un 7.5/10, simplemento por la trama que ya he visto series de con una historia parecidas en la historia principal, pero por lo demás es una producción bastante aceptable y que puede llegar a tener éxitos dentro de los fanáticos de las novelas de Wattapp y de este tiempo de series.

Es la serie que estaba esperando ver, es mi género favorito, me encanta la trama aunque parece más de lo mismo me gustaría verla, es una de mis tramas favoritas, una chica que le gustan dos hermanos wow qué emocionante, al mismo tiempo una situación comprometida como decidirse por uno de ellos, a esa edad suele pasar fácilmente debido a la inestabilidad emocional, es una historia que envuelve, me imagino viendo cada capítulo. La guardaré en mi lista de próximas series a ver. Gracias por compartir, es una gran reseña, me encantó leerla.❤️
La verdad que la película está bien adaptada, la cuestión es que ya ví una serie similar, aunque debo decir que la otra no me gustó, está me atrapó un poco más. Me gustan este tipo de series y películas, espero un mejor desarrollo de los personajes y un desenlace digno de la historia.

Saludos amigo, una serie que suena muy bien y muy poco ve producciones de este género, sin duda la buscaré y ver qué sucede allí, además mudarse a una familia con es gran cantidad de hijos, no debe ser nada fácil y más aún tener que lidiar con las aptitudes de cada uno y a partir de allí tener que crecer toda esa gran aventura y experiencia en la misma. Genial que hayas disfrutado y ahora queda seguir viendo más series.
