Un placer volver a esta maravillosa comunidad y más para contarles como me enganche con este drama coreano llamado "Queen of tears".
Primero, no estaba muy convencida pero vi a mi mamá tan enganchada que la empece. Confieso que quedé enganchada al punto de entrar en ansiedad y buscar spoilers porque empecé a verla en plena emisión y los domingos era el día de comentar los capítulos entre ambas. La plataforma de streaming Netflix se encargó de transmitir dos capítulos de forma semanal los días sábados. Justo acabo de terminar de ver el capítulo final y estoy en espera de dos capítulos especiales.
La historia va de la multimillonaria Hong Hae-in, presidenta de la tienda departamental Queens quien está casada con Baek Hyun-woo, que es abogado y director del departamento legal del grupo Queens. Ambos están pasando por una crisis matrimonial y Baek Hyun-woo piensa en solicitar el divorcio.
Hae-in es literalmente una reina, a quien Hyun-woo se encargó de enamorar sin tener idea de quién era. A pesar de que al iniciar la historia su relación es un desastre, los breves flashback te muestran que inicialmente su relación fue muy bonita y se casaron enamorados. La historia transcurre entre Seul, Yongdoo-ri el pueblo natal de Hyun-woo y los bellos paisajes de Alemania.
No te haré spoiler, solo te dire que llore a mares con Hyun-woo. Su devoción y amor por Hae-in lo lleva a investigar y solucionar una gran cantidad de problemas en los que se meten el resto de los integrantes de la familia Hong. Algo bonito de su relación es que sin importar los problemas, siempre estuvo a su lado, en las buenas, malas, salud y enfermedad.
Esta es una historia donde vemos a los personajes tocar fondo y reconstruirse a partir de su aprendizaje. Por lo menos, la familia Hong tuvo que aprender acerca de la humildad para lograr fortalecer sus lazos familiares. También resalta la importancia de la comunicación en las relaciones, así como lo importante de aprovechar el hoy y crear buenos y bonitos recuerdos al lado de los que amas.
Me gusta que la trama tiene muchos detalles y todo está conectado. Al final de cada capítulo tienen una sección llamada epílogo donde te muestran trozos del capítulo que no parecieran importantes pero te permiten entender muchas cosas y enamorarte más de los personajes.
Esta es una historia de amor, muy a lo cenicienta versión masculina, pero sobre todo es una historia donde tanto Hae-in y Hyun-woo redescubren la razón por las que se enamoraron y se dan una segunda oportunidad a pesar de todos los obstáculos. También la historia de cómo la familia Hong aprende el valor de su familia.

It's a pleasure to come back to this wonderful community and more to tell you how I got hooked on this Korean drama called “Queen of tears”.
First, I wasn't very convinced but I saw my mom so hooked that I started it. I confess that I was hooked to the point of becoming anxious and looking for spoilers because I started watching it in the middle of the broadcast and Sundays was the day to comment the chapters between the two of us. The streaming platform Netflix took it upon themselves to stream two chapters weekly on Saturdays. I just finished watching the final chapter and am looking forward to two special chapters.
The story is about billionaire Hong Hae-in, president of Queens Department Store who is married to Baek Hyun-woo, who is a lawyer and head of the legal department of Queens Group. Both are going through a marital crisis and Baek Hyun-woo is thinking of filing for divorce.
Hae-in is literally a queen, whom Hyun-woo took it upon himself to romance without having any idea who she was. Although at the beginning of the story their relationship is a disaster, brief flashbacks show you that initially their relationship was very beautiful and they married in love. The story takes place between Seoul, Yongdoo-ri Hyun-woo's hometown and the beautiful landscapes of Germany.
I won't give you spoilers, I'll just tell you that I cried my eyes out with Hyun-woo. His devotion and love for Hae-in leads him to investigate and solve a lot of problems that the rest of the Hong family members get into. A beautiful thing about their relationship is that no matter the problems, he was always by their side, through thick and thin, sickness and health.
This is a story where we see the characters hit rock bottom and rebuild from their learning. At the very least, the Hong family had to learn about humility in order to strengthen their family ties. It also highlights the importance of communication in relationships, as well as how important it is to seize today and create good and beautiful memories with the ones you love.
I like that the plot has a lot of details and everything is connected. At the end of each chapter they have a section called epilogue where they show you bits of the chapter that may not seem important but allow you to understand many things and fall more in love with the characters.
This is a love story, very Cinderella-like male version, but mostly it is a story where both Hae-in and Hyun-woo rediscover the reason why they fell in love and give each other a second chance despite all the obstacles. It is also the story of how the Hong family learns the value of their family.
