Forgiveness: A Word Easy to Say, But Hard to Live

in Movies & TV Shows2 days ago

Do You Think Forgiveness Is Truly Possible?

If yes, if no, come with me on this heartfelt journey through a Christian film I watched that made me question and understand what forgiveness really means.

I came across a #Christian movie titled Trampled, and sincerely, it left me in tears. I did not just watch it, I felt it. I watched it in the middle of the night, and at some point, I could not hold myself anymore. I was weeping.

Seeing how deeply the man was hurt broke me completely. The betrayal, the rejection, the loneliness, everything cut deep. He had no one to stand for him, not even his close friends. The only thing he was left with was his wife and children. Sadly, the wife also left.

At that point, everyone was gone. No one was there for him. He was left all alone, broken and empty.

Hmmm!!

The very people who should have been there deserted him. The same people that shouted Hosanna were the same people that sponsored his crucifixion 😭😭.

And then that part where he was stabbed inside the vehicle and thrown out while the car was moving ,
Ahhh!!
I could not take it anymore. My heart sank.

You could literally feel the weight of the pain he carried, how his life almost crashed before his eyes. Yet, in the middle of that pain, the message of forgiveness began to unfold. Kaii!!

That was where it hit me the most. How do you forgive people who hurt you that badly? How do you release the same people who left you to suffer alone?

The #film Trampled shows that forgiveness is not easy; it is a battle within. Sometimes we think we have forgiven, but deep down we are still bleeding. The story reminded me that forgiveness is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of strength and grace.

I love how the movie brings out the reality of being hurt by people you trusted and still finding the courage to let go. It made me reflect deeply on my own #life, on the people who hurt me, and on how hard it can be to truly forgive.

This #movie did not just tell a story, it touched my heart. It showed me that Gods grace is the only thing that makes forgiveness possible.

Now I would love to hear from you!
Have you ever been hurt so deeply that forgiveness felt impossible?
Do you believe forgiveness is truly possible, even after deep pain or betrayal?

Through this #film, I have learned that #forgiveness is possible, but it is actually a journey.
It takes time, prayer, and healing, but it is worth it.
