¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! Me complace realizar mi primer post reseña para este año 2022 y ¿qué mejor manera de hacerlo que hablando sobre una película increíble que pude ver en estos últimos días del 2021 y primeros días de 2022? De verdad que Netflix se ha lucido con el catálogo de películas que hemos tenido a disponibilidad, pues disfruté de muchas obras maestras y hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una de ellas, que se conoce con el nombre de «El Diablo A Todas Horas».
Es difícil no haber querido ver la película cuando ves en la foto de portada que entre el reparto está Tom Holland (Lo Imposible, Spiderman (Marvel)), Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter, Crepúsculo, The Batman) y el gran Bill Skarsgård (IT, Eternals, Deadpool, John Wick 4), ya con esos nombres cualquier persona puede detenerse un momento y saber que está de cara a una gran obra, también se contó con la participación de Sebastian Stan (Bucky en Marvel), así que se imaginarán la emoción al ir adentrándome en la película, entonces, vamos a hablar un poco de mis impresiones al respecto.
Welcome back to my blog, guys! I am pleased to make my first post review for this year 2022 and what better way to do it than talking about an amazing movie that I could see in these last days of 2021 and first days of 2022? Truly, Netflix has excelled with the catalog of movies that we have had available, because I enjoyed many masterpieces and today I come to talk about one of them, which is known by the name of "The Devil At All Hours".
It's hard not to have wanted to see the movie when you see in the cover photo that among the cast is Tom Holland (The Impossible, Spiderman (Marvel)), Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter, Twilight, The Batman) and the great Bill Skarsgård (IT, Eternals, Deadpool, John Wick 4), with those names anyone can stop for a moment and know that they are facing a great work, also Sebastian Stan (Bucky in Marvel) participated in the film, so you can imagine the excitement as I get into the movie, then, let's talk a little about my impressions about it.

Comenzamos la historia con una clásica familia campirana estadounidense, proveniente de un pueblo muy pequeño y peculiar conocido como Knockemstiff en Ohio; es la época de los 90 aproximadamente, ya la segunda guerra mundial había terminado y los soldados americanos que estaban en acción en contra de los japoneses volvían a sus hogares, entre esos soldados está Williard Russell (Bill Skarsgård) quién se vuelve increíblemente devoto a la religión cristiana por motivos de un estrés postraumático a raíz de haber visto a un soldado americano siendo crucificado por japoneses y de haber conocido a una persona (su futura esposa), ya que esta era muy devota de por sí.
Años más tarde, dicha mujer se enferma de cáncer y Williard intenta junto a su hijo Arvin Eugene Russell que su esposa no muera a través de mucha disciplina con respecto al hecho de ir a rezar al bosque, sin embargo no mejora en absoluto la situación y Williard decide recurrir a un sacrificio en vida para tratar de salvar la vida de su esposa y mata al perro de su hijo, Jack, el cuál luego crucifica como ofrenda para su Dios, el cuál no le responde y causa así un trauma a su hijo.
Lo más impactante de todo es que realmente nunca solventó el problema y al verse envuelto en su fracaso, decidió acabar con su propia vida, dejando así, otra secuela de malos recuerdos con su hijo, el cuál ahora había quedado a la deriva.
Este inicio de la película me gustó mucho, la actuación de Bill como siempre fue magistral y comienza el argumento a tomar forma en la película pues ya nos empiezan a sumergir en el conflicto principal, pero a su vez, nos hablan de otro conflicto que sucede en paralelo con una pareja que tiene mucha relevancia en la película, la pareja de asesinos en serie Carl y Sandy Henderson.
We begin the story with a classic American country family, from a very small and peculiar town known as Knockemstiff in Ohio; It is the time of the 90's approximately, the Second World War was over and the American soldiers who were in action against the Japanese were returning home, among those soldiers is Williard Russell (Bill Skarsgård) who becomes incredibly devoted to the Christian religion for reasons of post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of having seen an American soldier being crucified by the Japanese and having met a person (his future wife), since she was very devout in itself.
Years later, this woman gets cancer and Williard tries with his son Arvin Eugene Russell that his wife does not die through much discipline with respect to the fact of going to pray to the forest, however it does not improve the situation at all and Williard decides to resort to a sacrifice in life to try to save the life of his wife and kills the dog of his son, Jack, which then crucifies as an offering to his God, which does not respond and thus causes a trauma to his son.
The most shocking of all is that he never really solved the problem and when he was involved in his failure, he decided to end his own life, leaving another sequel of bad memories with his son, who was now adrift.
I liked this beginning of the film very much, Bill's performance as always was masterful and the plot begins to take shape in the film as we begin to immerse ourselves in the main conflict, but in turn, we are told of another conflict that happens in parallel with a couple that has much relevance in the film, the couple of serial killers Carl and Sandy Henderson.
Antes de continuar la historia de Arvin Russell nos presentan a una dupla de personajes que nos traerían a la siguiente protagonista de la película: Lenora, la cual es hija del pastor Roy Laferty (Harry Meling) y Helen Hatton (Mía Wasikowska) pero que termina convirtiéndose en la hermanastra de Arvin motivado a un suceso bastante peculiar que viene siendo el primer impacto extraño (más allá de haber visto un perro crucificado, claro) con respecto al argumento de la película.
Esto ocurre porque el pastor Roy se encuentra en una crisis de fé donde siente que Dios ya no se comunica con él y esto lo obliga a encerrarse en un armario durante días, luego de este tiempo de meditación y reflexión, obtiene una supuesta epifanía donde Dios le ha dado un mensaje; esto le hace salir de su escondite y decide irse de paseo con su esposa y su hermano.
Antes de irse de paseo, le deja a cargo a Lenora a la abuela de Arvin, para que ellos puedan ir a disfrutar de las inmediaciones del bosque, pero para la sorpresa de los espectadores, el pastor Roy decide asesinar a su esposa con un destornillador, apuñalándola en el cuello en una escena bastanta rápida y cruda, todo por el simple hecho de sentir que tiene la potestad o el poder de revivirla más adelante, pues según ese fue el mensaje que Dios le dió.
En esta parte, ocurren unas escenas bastante perturbadoras sobre este personaje y cuando las lleva al extremo por el hecho de ese asesinato, su única opción es escapar y darle rienda suelta a lo que sería la primera correlación de trama con otros personajes, más el hecho de añadir a Lenora en la ecuación, comienza el argumento más fuerte de la película.
Before continuing the story of Arvin Russell we are introduced to a pair of characters that would bring us to the next protagonist of the film: Lenora, who is the daughter of pastor Roy Laferty (Harry Meling) and Helen Hatton (Mia Wasikowska) but who ends up becoming Arvin's stepsister due to a rather peculiar event that is the first strange impact (beyond having seen a crucified dog, of course) with respect to the plot of the film.
This happens because Pastor Roy is in a crisis of faith where he feels that God no longer communicates with him and this forces him to lock himself in a closet for days, after this time of meditation and reflection, he gets a supposed epiphany where God has given him a message; this makes him come out of hiding and decides to go for a walk with his wife and brother.
Before going for a walk, he leaves Lenora in charge of Arvin's grandmother, so that they can go and enjoy the surroundings of the forest, but to the surprise of the viewers, Pastor Roy decides to murder his wife with a screwdriver, stabbing her in the neck in a very fast and crude scene, all for the simple fact of feeling that he has the power to revive her later, because according to that was the message that God gave him.
In this part, some quite disturbing scenes occur about this character and when he takes them to the extreme by the fact of that murder, his only option is to escape and give free rein to what would be the first plot correlation with other characters, plus the fact of adding Lenora in the equation, begins the strongest argument of the film.
Antes de comenzar lo que sería el segundo acto de la película (a nivel argumental) nos presentan a esta pareja conocidos como Carl y Sandy Henderson, los cuáles al principio notas como una pareja normal que se la pasa viajando por todos lados; Carl viene siendo un aficionado de la fotografía que conoce a Sandy en el mismo lugar donde Williard conoció a su esposa, pero las cosas se ponen un poco turbias cuando empezamos a adentrarnos en el hobby favorito de esta pareja retorcida: asesinar personas y retratarlas en fotografía.
Definitivamente este es un plot que nadie se espera a primera instancia, pero nos lo revelan al conectar esta historia con la del pastor Roy, pues este, después de matar a su esposa, decide escapar y deja a su hermano varado en medio de la nada, por lo que lo encuentran en medio de la calle buscando alguien que le de un aventón, la siniestra pareja le ofrece llevarlo al destino que él pida y este les dice que quiere ir a ver a su hija.
Pero antes de la travesía, Carl le dice que quiere tomar unas fotografías y hacer un picnic juntos, pero las cosas se van saliendo de control cuando este le dice que Sandy es una buena compañía y que si quiere tener sexo con ella y ser fotografiado por él.
Roy dice que no le parece bien la idea y que quiere irse a su casa, pero Carl insiste en que lo haga y al seguir teniendo respuestas negativas de su parte, saca un arma de fuego e intenta obligarlo a hacerlo, ahora, como la situación se pone incómoda, Sandy decide que el plan ya no va, pero Carl de igual forma asesina a Roy en el acto por su mismo placer de querer matar personas y fotografiarlas, así comienza la historia de esta pareja demente.
Siento que en esta parte nos mostraron un excelente inicio de estos personajes por el mero hecho de que el narrador ya nos había dado una pequeña idea, pero era muy vaga todavía así que había que verlos en plena acción y esta escena marcó el principio del fin para ellos.
Before beginning what would be the second act of the film (plot-wise) we are introduced to this couple known as Carl and Sandy Henderson, which at first you notice as a normal couple who spend their time traveling all over the place; Carl is an amateur photographer who meets Sandy in the same place where Williard met his wife, but things get a little messy when we start to get into this twisted couple's favorite hobby: murdering people and portraying them in photographs.
This is definitely a plot that no one expects at first, but it is revealed to us by connecting this story with that of Pastor Roy, because this, after killing his wife, decides to escape and leaves his brother stranded in the middle of nowhere, so they find him in the middle of the street looking for someone to give him a ride, the sinister couple offers to take him to the destination he asks for and he tells them that he wants to go see his daughter.
But before the ride, Carl tells him that he wants to take some pictures and have a picnic together, but things get out of hand when he tells him that Sandy is good company and that he wants to have sex with her and be photographed by him.
Roy says that he doesn't like the idea and that he wants to go home, but Carl insists that he does it and when he keeps getting negative answers from him, he pulls out a gun and tries to force him to do it, now, as the situation gets uncomfortable, Sandy decides that the plan is no longer going, but Carl kills Roy on the spot for his own pleasure of wanting to kill people and photograph them, so begins the story of this demented couple.
I feel that in this part we were shown an excellent beginning of these characters by the mere fact that the narrator had already given us a little idea, but it was still very vague so we had to see them in full action and this scene marked the beginning of the end for them.
¡Hasta que por fin nos muestran a nuestro gran Tom Holland como Arvin Russell! Unos años después del inicio de la trama, vemos como Arvin ha crecido y en compañía de su tío, su abuela y Lenora mantiene el vínculo familiar intacto a pesar de todas las vivencias negativas que ha tenido; de pronto, su tío le regala una pistola alemana modelo Luger, la cuál es famosa por haber sido el modelo de pistola con la cuál Hitler se disparó en la cabeza al haber sido derrotado en la segunda guerra mundial y dicha pistola vendría a ser muy importante más adelante en la película.
En primera instancia nos colocan a Holland como un hermano mayor muy protector con Lenora, la cuál también está bastante grande y vemos este hecho de forma fehaciente porque él realiza un acto de venganza al mejor estilo de su padre Williard contra unos chicos de la escuela que se la pasaban acosando y molestando a Lenora, haciéndole bullying y muchas insinuaciones sexuales agresivas, entonces, este recurre a la violencia como medio de solución ante estas situaciones.
Lenora se muestra como un personaje muy religioso y esto hace que ella siempre quiera que Arvin la acompañe a la tumba de su madre a rezar por ella para que encuentre paz su alma y también a rezar por el hecho de encontrar a su padre, pues nunca supo realmente qué pasó con él.
Entonces, luego de los primeros sucesos de Arvin y la venganza, comienza un arco interesante en el argumento pues también nos presentan a otro personaje que muchos estuvimos esperando tras haberlo visto en la mención del reparto.
Esta parte me gustó mucho porque fue extraño para mí ver a Tom Holland en un papel tan rudo, y el hecho de que tuviera ese acento campirano tan gracioso fue interesante, verlo ser grosero, fumando cigarrillos y siendo como una especie de pandillero o «bad boy» hizo de este papel algo bastante genial, no es algo a lo que estemos acostumbrados a ver de Tom, pero siento que el papel le quedó perfecto.
Until they finally show us our great Tom Holland as Arvin Russell! A few years after the beginning of the plot, we see how Arvin has grown up and in the company of his uncle, his grandmother and Lenora keeps the family bond intact despite all the negative experiences he has had; suddenly, his uncle gives him a German Luger pistol, which is famous for having been the model of gun with which Hitler shot himself in the head after being defeated in World War II and that gun would become very important later in the film.
In the first instance we are placed Holland as a very protective older brother with Lenora, which is also quite large and we see this fact in a reliable way because he performs an act of revenge in the best style of his father Williard against some boys at school who were harassing and bothering Lenora, making bullying and many aggressive sexual advances, then, this resorts to violence as a means of solution to these situations.
Lenora is shown as a very religious character and this makes her always want Arvin to accompany her to her mother's grave to pray for her to find peace for her soul and also to pray for the fact of finding her father, since she never really knew what happened to him.
Then, after the first events of Arvin and the revenge, an interesting arc in the plot begins as we are also introduced to another character that many of us were waiting for after seeing him in the cast mention.
I really liked this part because it was strange for me to see Tom Holland in such a badass role, and the fact that he had that funny country accent was interesting, seeing him being rude, smoking cigarettes and being like some kind of gangster or "bad boy" made this role pretty cool, it's not something we are used to seeing from Tom, but I feel the role was perfect for him.
Este es uno de los papeles que jamás habría esperado, definitivamente si me hubieran puesto a apostar por el papel que tendría Robert Pattinson en esta película, jamás habría dicho que sería el papel de un pastor súmamente devoto a la iglesia pero súmamente cínico con respecto al tema de acosar a las mujeres creyentes que van a la iglesia a escuchar el sermón de los domingos.
Nos presentan al pastor Preston Teagardin, un pastor nuevo que llega a la localidad a raíz de la desaparición del antiguo pastor Roy Laferty; todo el pueblo se muestra con muchísima gratitud y muchísimas expectativas de ir a conocer al nuevo pastor y esto hace que la abuela Russell prepare una comida especial para ello, ahí vemos la primera escena perturbadora de Pattinson, pues dice que realmente la comida que le trajeron era una comida para gente pobre que no pudo pagar por mejores ingredientes pero que él se sacrificaría por comer esto en pro de la fé y del apoyo que él le daba a esas personas de bajos recursos.
Posteriormente, comienza un amorío extraño con Lenora, pues el pastor empieza a aprovecharse de su fé para poder tener sexo con ella, aclamando que se trata de una decisión divina y de que ella debe despojarse de sus pecados y de sus inseguridades a través de la entrega en cuerpo hacia él, siendo este encuentro carnal una especie de «expiación» de sus pecados.
Esos diálogos fueron una locura, porque realmente aunque el personaje de Pattinson parecía bastante ingenuo, resultó ser un personaje muy oscuro de alma, como para utilizar la religión a su favor para obtener comida gratuita y sexo de parte de los devotos, fue simplemente una locura el ver este desarrollo de personaje.
This is one of the roles I would never have expected, definitely if you had put me betting on the role Robert Pattinson would have in this movie, I would never have said it would be the role of a pastor who is extremely devoted to the church but extremely cynical about harassing women believers who go to church to listen to the Sunday sermon.
We are introduced to Pastor Preston Teagardin, a new pastor who arrives in the town following the disappearance of the old pastor Roy Laferty; The whole town shows a lot of gratitude and a lot of expectations to meet the new pastor and this makes Grandma Russell prepare a special meal for him, there we see the first disturbing scene of Pattinson, as he says that really the food they brought him was a meal for poor people who could not pay for better ingredients but he would sacrifice to eat this for the faith and the support he gave to those people of low resources.
Later, he begins a strange love affair with Lenora, because the pastor begins to take advantage of her faith to have sex with her, claiming that this is a divine decision and that she must get rid of her sins and insecurities by giving her body to him, being this carnal encounter a kind of "atonement" for her sins.
Those dialogues were crazy, because really although Pattinson's character seemed quite naïve, he turned out to be a very dark-souled character, as to use religion to his advantage to get free food and sex from the devotees, it was just crazy to see this character development.
Como último personaje del argumento nos muestran a Sebastian Stan como el Sheriff Lee Bodecker, el cuál podemos ver en una primera vista en la escena donde vemos al perro crucificado, pues él fue el que acompañó a un jóven Arvin a ver el cadáver de su padre y de su perro, pero luego, la película se va adentrando en la historia de este personaje y se descubren cosas más perturbadoras.
Bodecker es el Sheriff del condado, y al pasar los años se ve envuelto en unas nuevas elecciones donde quiere salir electo una vez más en su cargo, sin embargo, hay cosas terribles que ha hecho durante su gestión que lo hacen tener algunos cabos sueltos que tiene que cerrar, como por ejemplo, el hecho de que mantiene actos de corrupción con un local donde van hombres a buscar placer, un especie de bar y club nocturno que le paga una cuota al oficial para que este los deje operar en paz.
Más allá de ese hecho, el oficial Bodecker resulta ser el hermano de Sandy Henderson, la chica que se convirtió en una asesina en serie junto a su pareja Carl, sin embargo, este no está al tanto de los delitos de su hermana, sino que únicamente piensa que ella está trabajando como prostituta y le dice que deje de operar de esa forma mientras ocurren las elecciones por el miedo a que eso a fecte su reputación.
Este papel estuvo bastante interesante y fue pieza clave del cierre del argumento de la película, siento que estuvo muy bien cubierto y fue una buena actuación de nuestro soldado del invierno.
As the last character of the plot we are shown Sebastian Stan as Sheriff Lee Bodecker, which we can see at first glance in the scene where we see the crucified dog, as he was the one who accompanied a young Arvin to see the corpse of his father and his dog, but then, the film goes deeper into the history of this character and more disturbing things are discovered.
Bodecker is the Sheriff of the county, and as the years go by he is involved in a new election where he wants to be elected once again in office, however, there are terrible things he has done during his tenure that make him have some loose ends that he has to close, such as the fact that he maintains acts of corruption with a place where men go to seek pleasure, a kind of bar and nightclub that pays a fee to the officer to let them operate in peace.
Beyond that fact, Officer Bodecker happens to be the brother of Sandy Henderson, the girl who became a serial killer along with her partner Carl, however, he is not aware of his sister's crimes, but only thinks she is working as a prostitute and tells her to stop operating that way while the election happens for fear that it will affect her reputation.
This role was quite interesting and was a key part of the closing plot of the movie, I feel it was very well covered and it was a good performance from our winter soldier.
La trama finaliza de una manera casi poética con Arvin siendo partícipe del cierre de muchos personajes, empezando por el pastor Preston, quién dejó embarazada a Lenora y luego le dijo las líneas más cínicas que pudieron haber salido de su boca, haciendo que esta se viera comprometida psicológicamente y optara por el suicidio como solución a sus problemas.
Arvin no deja pasar este hecho al descubrir que su hermana estaba embarazada de él y decide seguirlo para ver cómo comienza otro amorío con otra chica devota; luego de tener las pruebas más contundentes, decide encararlo y ponerle fin a su maldad.
Posteriormente, decide ir a su hogar para poder enterrar a su perro, pues él recuerda que nunca tuvo oportunidad de ello y piensa que segúramente nadie se habrá encargado de ello, entonces, mientras va en vía hacia allá, pide un aventón en la calle y se encuentra con nada más y nada menos que con la pareja Henderson, los cuáles intentan realizar el mismo plan con él para asesinarlo, pero le sale muy mal porque Arvin ya tenía un mal presentimiento.
Esta parte es épica porque la escena está llena de muchos reflejos y reacciones rápidas, además del hecho de que pareciera que mataban al personaje de Arvin, pero la pistola de Sandy tenía balas de salva y eso nos da un respiro en la trama, pues la impresión que había quedado fue una locura.
Para finalizar la trama, el Sheriff Bodecker consigue el cuerpo de su hermana y se entera de que la persona que la asesinó fue Arvin, entonces busca venganza sin saber qué era lo que había hecho su hermana para recibir esa muerte, teniendo un último encuentro entre los dos primeros personajes que vimos juntos en el inicio de la película, una manera muy interesante de cerrar el argumento.
Arvin le dice la frase «No soy una mala persona» porque realmente él nunca quiso matar gente de esa manera, pero las circunstancias de la vida lo obligaron, pues, como él dijo, el pastor era una mala persona y la pareja Henderson también, además que él les mató a ambos por defensa propia, entonces, nunca asesinó a nadie a sangre fría sin motivo alguno, todo siempre fue por su familia o por su propia seguridad.
Al asesinar al Sheriff, Arvin le deja una fotografía de su hermana con un cadáver encima de su cuerpo para poder demostra rqué era lo que estaba haciendo su hermana que él siempre quiso encubrir luego de enterarse de los detalles, terminando así con ese suspenso y haciendo lo correcto.
Básicamente Arvin fue el cierre de todas las historias siniestras del poblado de Knockemstiff, Ohio, o tal vez solo las de ese momento particular, quién sabe, pero siento que fue una película muy buena.
La manera de narrar múltiples historias que están correlacionadas de alguna manera y luego irle dando cierres entrelazando personajes de otras narrativas siempre me ha parecido una técnica cinematográfica para estructurar guiones muy atractiva, acá siento que hicieron un trabajo excelente en ese sentido, las actuaciones fueron impecables y la dirección de fotografía hizo un trabajo impresionante con las tomas, siento que el drama y la oscuridad de cada personaje se reflejó muy bien a través de las escenas, todo quedó nuy bien hecho.
The plot ends in an almost poetic way with Arvin being part of the closure of many characters, starting with Pastor Preston, who got Lenora pregnant and then told her the most cynical lines that could have come out of his mouth, making her psychologically compromised and opting for suicide as a solution to her problems.
Arvin does not let this fact pass when he discovers that his sister was pregnant by him and decides to follow him to see how he starts another affair with another devoted girl; after having the most convincing evidence, he decides to face him and put an end to his wickedness.
Later, he decides to go to his home to bury his dog, because he remembers that he never had the chance to do it and thinks that surely no one will have taken care of it, then, while he is on his way there, he asks for a ride on the street and meets nothing more and nothing less than the Henderson couple, who try to carry out the same plan with him to kill him, but it goes very wrong because Arvin already had a bad feeling.
This part is epic because the scene is full of many reflexes and quick reactions, besides the fact that it seemed that Arvin's character was killed, but Sandy's gun had blanks and that gives us a break in the plot, because the impression that had been left was crazy.
To end the plot, Sheriff Bodecker gets the body of his sister and learns that the person who killed her was Arvin, then he seeks revenge without knowing what his sister had done to receive that death, having a last encounter between the first two characters we saw together at the beginning of the film, a very interesting way to close the plot.
Arvin tells him the phrase "I'm not a bad person" because he never really wanted to kill people that way, but the circumstances of life forced him, because, as he said, the pastor was a bad person and the Henderson couple too, besides he killed them both for self-defense, then, he never killed anyone in cold blood for no reason, everything was always for his family or for his own safety.
When killing the Sheriff, Arvin leaves him a photograph of his sister with a corpse on top of her body in order to show what his sister was doing that he always wanted to cover up after learning the details, thus ending the suspense and doing the right thing.
Basically Arvin was the closure to all the sinister stories of the town of Knockemstiff, Ohio, or maybe just the ones from that particular moment, who knows, but I feel it was a very good movie.
The way of telling multiple stories that are correlated in some way and then giving closure by intertwining characters from other narratives has always seemed to me a very attractive cinematic technique to structure scripts, here I feel they did an excellent job in that sense, the performances were impeccable and the cinematography did an impressive job with the shots, I feel that the drama and darkness of each character was reflected very well through the scenes, everything was very well done.
Una película que sin lugar a dudas recomiendo y aunque realmente hay algunos huecos argumentales porque realmente todo es muy extraño y retorcido, siento que de igual forma tiene una trama interesante que se divide en tramas más pequeñas dando así al espectador cada desarrollo de personaje por separado mientras se igue el hilo principal.
Es una película donde verás a muchos actores salir de su zona de confort (o al menos eso vas a percibir por haberlos visto antes en papeles completamente diferentes) pero no será incómodo, más bien será bastante impresionante y te dará muchas cosas qué pensar.
Podría considerarse como una película de culto en algun momento posiblemente, pues siento que su trama es muy particular, veremos qué opinan las personas al respecto y si quieres darte una idea sobre la película, por acá te dejo el trailer de la misma para cerrar este post.

A movie that I would definitely recommend and although there really are some plot holes because everything is really very strange and twisted, I feel that it still has an interesting plot that is divided into smaller plots giving the viewer each character development separately while following the main thread.
It's a movie where you will see many actors step out of their comfort zone (or at least that's what you will perceive by having seen them before in completely different roles) but it won't be uncomfortable, rather it will be quite impressive and will give you a lot of things to think about.
It could possibly be considered a cult movie at some point, because I feel that its plot is very particular, we will see what people think about it and if you want to get an idea about the movie, here I leave you the trailer to close this post.

Hola, gusto en saludarte. interesante película, no la he visto he evitado los spoilers pero se ve muy interesante esta recomendación, voy a anotarla para verla. es una producción del 2020 que no he visto y posee terror psicológico, algo que me gusta en las películas.

A mi me gusto la peli. Hice la review hace tiempo, esta basada en una novela del genero gótico americano. La voz en off del inicio de la historia es del escritor del libro, quien estuvo bastante implicado en la adaptación. recuerdo cuando vi el trailer que me llamo mucho la atención el elenco. Hay otras joyas que Netflix estreno el año pasado, espero saques tiempo para ponerte al día y verlas. Me dan ganas de recomendarte El Poder del Perro, pero es un dram un poco denso, no se si sea de tu gusto, quizás prefieras ver Imperdonable, la ultima de Sandra Bullock que también esta en Netflix.
Justo esa la vi ayer, pensé que era muy lenta o había algo que no entendía pero el final fue simplemente magnífico, sobretodo cuando Peter dice la línea con el nombre de la película (amo cuando hacen eso), El Poder Del Perro fue épico, la actuación de Benedict Cumberbatch fue magistral, me hizo odiar demasiado al personaje y de verdad que me mantuvo en expectativa durante toda la segunda mitad de película, tuve que ser muy minucioso con los detalles para entender todo antes del plot twist.
La de Imperdonable no la he visto, pero ya que me la recomiendas, vamos pa' esa, me gusta que me recomienden películas personas con buenos gustos, ¡gracias por pasar y comentar! ¡Saludos y bendiciones, hermano!
