Hola hive, se Que he estado un poco perdido por aquí por cuestiones personales, pero quiero retomar mis publicaciones y que mejor que hacerlo con un review de la última película que vi, que aunque ya salió hace un tiempo no había tenido la posibilidad de verla, como ya vieron en el título hoy vengo a darles mi opinión sobre Doctor Strange: The Multiverse Of Madness.
Doctor strange: The Multiverse Of Madness es una película lanzada este año (2022) perteneciente al MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), esta película es la secuela de Doctor Strange (del 2016), The Multiverse of madness esta dirigida por Sam Raimi y protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch y Elizabeth Olsen.
Esta película se sitúa cronológicamente después de los sucesos de Wanda Vision y por obvias razones es importante haber visto dicha serie para “enganchar” con la película, como muchas personas ya se veían venir la película nos muestra a una Wanda intentando recuperar a sus hijos y dispuesta a hacer lo que sea por estar con ellos de nuevo, causando así problemas en el Multiverso, problemas a los que nuestro protagonista tendrá que poner fin.
Aunque de por si la premisa no es muy complejo al ser una película de Multiversos es complicado y fácil a la vez, ya que pueden hacer prácticamente lo que quieran pero dentro de las reglas de que ellas películas mismas se plantean, sin embargo en este caso ni si quiera consideraría el multiverso como lo principal de la película y es más que todo una herramienta para la trama fluya, esto fue algo que me dejó un poco inconforme porque si esperaba un poco más de profundidad sobre las leyes y como funcionaban estos multiversos.
La forma en que se desenvuelve la trama no fue la más enganchante (en mi opinión), como que sentía que pasaban muchas cosas pero irónicamente la trama no avanzaba, la película no tuvo giros así interesantes, y la única parte que me emocionó bastante fue ver a John Krasinski como Mr. Fantastico, pero mi emoción no duró mucho, es cool ver como están intentando unir todo, pero no se si marvel lo está haciendo de la mejor manera y siento que tal vez se están poniendo la soga en el cuello.
Debo admitir que si tenía unas expectativas altas, como dije, me llamaba mucho la atención como iban a manejar el multiverso y saber que Sam Raimi iba a ser el director creo que subía un poco más las expectativas, por esta razón es que quiero hablar sobre la dirección de esta película, tiene sus puntos buenos y sus puntos no tan buenos, me gusto bastante ese toque de película de terror que daban en algunas escenas es algo prácticamente nuevo dentro de estas películas, pero al no dejar el lado ese tono de comedia siento que pierde fuerza, de resto por ahí uno que otro CGI que no convence mucho pero en general bastante pasable.
En general no digo que la película sea un desastre, pero tal vez mis expectativas eran muy altas y simplemente no fueron cumplidas, también hay que aceptar que probablemente esta sea una de esas películas puentes que utiliza Marvel para ir formando poco a poco sus historias, por tanto si estás al día con el MCU igual recomiendo verla.

Hello hive, I know I've been a little lost around here for personal reasons, but I want to resume my publications and what better to do it with a review of the last movie I saw, although it came out some time ago I had not had the chance to see it, as you saw in the title today I come to give you my opinion about Doctor Strange: The Multiverse Of Madness.
Doctor strange: The Multiverse Of Madness is a movie released this year (2022) belonging to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), this movie is the sequel to Doctor Strange (from 2016), The Multiverse of madness is directed by Sam Raimi and starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen.
This film is set chronologically after the events of Wanda Vision and for obvious reasons it is important to have seen that series to "hook" with the film, as many people already saw coming the film shows us a Wanda trying to recover her children and willing to do anything to be with them again, thus causing problems in the Multiverse, problems that our protagonist will have to put an end to.
Although in itself the premise is not very complex being a Multiverse movie is complicated and easy at the same time, since they can do pretty much whatever they want but within the rules that the movies themselves are raised, however in this case I would not even consider the multiverse as the main thing of the film and is mostly a tool for the plot to flow, this was something that left me a little unhappy because if I expected a little more depth about the laws and how these multiverses worked.
The way the plot unfolds wasn't the most engaging (in my opinion), I felt like a lot of things were happening but ironically the plot didn't advance, the movie didn't have interesting twists, and the only part that got me excited was seeing John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic, but my excitement didn't last long, it's cool to see how they are trying to tie everything together, but I don't know if Marvel is doing it the best way and I feel like maybe they are putting the noose around their necks.
I must admit that I did have high expectations, as I said, I was really curious about how they were going to handle the multiverse and knowing that Sam Raimi was going to be the director I think that raised my expectations a little more, that's why I want to talk about the direction of this movie, it has its good points and its not so good points, I quite liked that touch of horror movie that they gave in some scenes is something practically new in these movies, but by not leaving aside that tone of comedy I feel it loses strength, otherwise there is one or two CGI that does not convince much but overall quite passable.
In general I'm not saying that the movie is a disaster, but maybe my expectations were very high and simply were not met, I also have to accept that this is probably one of those bridge movies that Marvel uses to gradually form their stories, so if you are up to date with the MCU I still recommend watching it.

Muy de acuerdo en parte con su reseña aunque en escenas dónde Sam Raimi puede tener control es donde mejor es la película; lo demás es tal como dices y para mí es una película muy regular, en realidad decepcionante por la historia.
Yo me dormí en el cine, no ví la pelea entre los dos Doctor Strange.
Totalmente de acuerdo jeje al final de la película estaba más pendiente del teléfono que de la propia película.

Los toques de terror y el estilo de Raimi en general son la mejor parte de la película, aunque el público está muy dividido respecto a Wanda yo siento que estuvo bien ejecutada. No siento que sea top 5 en el MCU y continúa varios de los defectos que lleva arrastrando desde varios años.
Los toques de terror es prácticamente lo único "innovador", de resto sigue siendo otra película más de marvel

Comenzaré este comentario aclarando que no he visto esta película ni nada de lo que ha salido después de Avengers: Endgame (sólo Spiderman Far From Home y No Way Home), por lo que sí, no he visto ninguna de las series de Disney+. Y es que justamente ahí comienza mi problema, cómo tu comentaste, es necesario haber visto WandaVision para poder entender y disfrutar esta película a plenitud, ya no basta solamente haber visto todas las 23 películas anteriores sino que ahora también hay que ver series... Y eso no termina de convencerme jajaja.
Pero bueno, respecto a la película, debido a que no he visto la serie tampoco me he motivado a ver Dr Strange porque siento que me voy a perder detalles que no me dejarían apreciarla al 100%. No obstante igual me spoilee más o menos los detalles generales de la película, y creo que el problema con las expectativas es que debido a la temática del Multiverso, la salida de Spiderman No Way Home, y las supuestas filtraciones del guión, la gente comenzó a hacerse expectativas muy irreales y pues, de cierta manera terminó decepcionando.
Definitivamente, seguir el MCU se convirtió en una tarea (y no siempre llega a ser entretenida/divertida)

Comparto contigo tu opinión, tenía muchas ganas de verla, había dejado pasar el tiempo, para verla con calma, no estuvo mal, pero esperaba más, no sé, si embargo todas las películas de Marvel valen la pena verla, un gusto leerte, y bienvenido de nuevo, saludos.
Tal vez no debíamos tener expectativas tan altas jejeje.
