In my last review (Jellyfish) I mentioned some coming-of-age films and included this title in the list, but after uploading the post I realized that, among all the posts I made in February about the Oscar-nominated films, I didn't get around to upload two of them before the night of the gala. One was the review of the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, which I published the week after the awards; and the other was this one that I'm publishing now to settle that debt.

If you want to spend 90 minutes full of terror, the ruins is the movie you must see, it was created in 2008 and is based on a novel of the same name by Scott Smith, who also wrote the screenplay for this movie, filmed in Cancun Mexico, was the perfect environment to develop a story of mystery, disappearances and bloody nature, an original argument that convinced me although its beginning and end did not leave me very satisfied.

After almost 3 years, if I'm not mistaken one of the series that has blown my mind the most in recent years is back and it was quite a long wait but it was totally worth it since what this new season brought was a sequence of events and mysteries very impressive and relieving of the history of television.
