kind of fear that this might turn out in one of those ideas that is really great to start off with but eventually dissapoints in the ending or explaination.
This is a great fear of mine as well. Hopefully the writing team has already planned the story and they have spread out the critical moments and don't just do the usual "middle of the season is intentionally boring to make way for a big payoff in the last 2 episodes" that is all-too-common in almost all series.
From what I have read they already have a contract for 2 seasons so hopefully that means that the story is already there and all they have to do is put it to the screen.
