I watched the first 2 epsisodes last Wednesday as my feed mainly on youtube exploded with content about this show so I wanted to see what the fuss was about. The trailer I already watched before but if felt kind of weird because it tries to not tell too much and avoid spoilers. This said, I also absolutely loved the entire idea behind this show along with the setup and execution. I must say that the 3rd episode on Friday left me somewhat empty-handed as I hoped fror more and for it not to be over that quickly. I kind of fear that this might turn out in one of those ideas that is really great to start off with but eventually dissapoints in the ending or explaination.
It's not a bad things as it helps me to watch it with high joy right now and low expectations so it can only turn out better. I'm already looking forward to next Friday. Great Review as always!
This is a great fear of mine as well. Hopefully the writing team has already planned the story and they have spread out the critical moments and don't just do the usual "middle of the season is intentionally boring to make way for a big payoff in the last 2 episodes" that is all-too-common in almost all series.
From what I have read they already have a contract for 2 seasons so hopefully that means that the story is already there and all they have to do is put it to the screen.
