Movie Review - Titanic (April 14, 1912)

I watched the Titanic when I was 12 years old, and I think I was in Grade 6 then. The film is incredible, all of the actors are outstanding, the sounds and visual effects are astonishing, and you don't feel like you're watching a movie or television; instead you feel like you're present at the scene. The film serves as a testament to the ability of computers to portray reality in modern motion pictures, as well as spectacular adventure or terrifying escapes.

The British Titanic sank April 14, 1912 after crashing with an iceberg in North Atlantic, killing 1,500 to 2,000 passenger on board. Of course, we all know that the main characters in the movie Titanic, Jack and Rose, were not real. The movie applied its own fictional elements to real events, as do all movies "based on true stories". Both actors did a brilliant job portraying their respective characters.

Titanic combines drama, action, and romance in a way that makes the viewer fall in love with each scene. Like how Jack Dawson, a poor young man fall in love with an elite wealthy woman Rose. One of the movie's moral lesson is that you shouldn't lose yourself simply because you've lost the one that you love. Caledon lose his self when Rose chose Jack. He is so willing to give Rose everything, such as his wealth, He even gave the beautiful "Heart of the Ocean" necklace. But in the end , it's not always about the money; it's about true love, and it's about how you feel when you're in love.

There is no difference between the wealthy and the poor. At the scenarios where the crew prioritized the wealthy first in the lifeboats, 700 people were only save and still the rest were died. Because the actual lifeboats are not enough for all its passenger. Life is so precious that everyone wants to save their own lives without thinking of others. Like the one scene that the man did cut the rope to save his. The ending scene was so emotionally powerful that it brings you to the Titanic as though you're just another passenger, and it leads the viewer to tears, at least in the climax.

Celine Dion's My Heart will Go On is a fantastic song for the soundtrack. The song evokes vivid memories of the scene. I don't know how many times I've watched this movie, but I still like it, each scene looks new and I never get bored. Until now, the final scene has brought tears to my eyes.

Also, the ending, where everyone died waiting for Rose on the ship, while Jack waits at the clock (where they normally met) feels like a recreation of old Titanic. it brings back memories of when the Titanic was still a majestic and grand ship. It is without a doubt, the best.

The greatest film of all time!
