Looking for a thrilling action-packed series that will keep you on the edge of your seat? 'Warrior Nun' is one to see.
I first came across the series when the latest season came out weeks ago as I scrolled through Netflix.
I didn't start it then because I didn't think it would be that good.
I was wrong.
I started it and I couldn't pause until I completed it.
Today, I'll be making a review of the film and sharing my biased opinion ;)
ABOUT THE MOVIE
"Warrior Nun" is a thrilling and action-packed Netflix series that follows the story of a young woman named Ava, who is resurrected by a secret order of warrior nuns and given a divine artifact that gives her incredible powers to fight against demons and other supernatural creatures that threaten the world.
The series is based on the comic book series "Warrior Nun Areala" by Ben Dunn.
The show combines science fiction, fantasy, and action aspects to produce a unique and exciting plot that will appeal to a wide audience.
The show begins with a group of nuns fighting against a group of demons in an epic battle. The nuns seemed to be overwhelmed, they had gone on a mission and things went south.
The current Warrior nun possessing the artifact known as the Halo was badly injured and would not make it. The Halo was then removed from her and put inside the body of a dead girl named Ava.
Ava was resurrected, having a heavenly relic embedded in her back.
Ava is a young complex and likable girl who had spent all her life on a sick bed as she had been paralyzed from her neck downwards since she was a child.
Now she struggles to understand her newfound abilities and her role in the world. She is a flawed and relatable human being, not a perfect hero, making her a great protagonist to follow.
The Warrior Nun blends science fiction, fantasy, and action genres, creating a unique and intriguing plot.
The show explores the world of the warrior nuns, a secret order of women who fight against supernatural creatures that threaten the world.
It explores faith and morality and raises questions about the nature of faith, the role of religion in society, and the consequences of blindly following tradition.
CASTS
The cast of "Warrior Nun" is impressive.

Alba Baptista plays Ava, the protagonist of the series, and she delivers an outstanding performance. She has a complex, relatable character making her an interesting protagonist.
Toya Turner plays Sister Mary, the leader of the Order, and her performance is strong and nuanced.
The supporting cast such as Kristina Tonteri-Young as Sister Beatrice and Lorena Andrea as Sister Lilith also delivers outstanding performances.

Another notable aspect of the series is its cinematography. The series is shot in a variety of locales throughout Spain, creating a visually gorgeous backdrop for the action.

MY THOUGHTS
I think Warrior Nun" is a highly entertaining and engaging series.
The unique blend of genres, strong performances from the cast, and stunning cinematography make it a must-watch for fans of action, fantasy, and science fiction.
"Warrior Nun" is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fascinating and thought-provoking adventure.
