That’s a place. It’s an island in the Bahamas. Not a drug reference. Blues Brothers 2000 movie is where all this is coming from.
I'll just say it real quick, the best part is difficult because of the necessity to do rapid 16th notes at a high tempo and jump the strings. I’m glad the drummer knew his part and while to take his little solo. I have a little solo after him. I did not play it as written or as recorded. Nobody cares, except me.
This song is ANOTHER good opportunity to work on finger dexterity and speed. Why is every Blues Brothers song a #bassplayerecercise for me?!?
Seriously, I’m having flash backs to 2005 big band experiences.
