See for Me is an American thriller. It tells the story of Sophie, who is a former skier that had an accident on one of her skiing days that left her visually impaired. She is hired by a woman to take care of her mansion while she travels for vacation and is given a list of instructions to follow for her to effectively do her job.
The first night Sophie spends in the mansion, there is a break-in. Three men come into the house in the dead of night and Sophie has to make it out of the house before they figure out that she's in there. What do these men want? Why are they there by that time of the night? Would Sophie make it out alive?
MY OPINION ON THIS MOVIE
The movie began slowly but it started pretty okay. We were made to know who Sophie was and how she became visually impaired. The music that was used after the intro scene was good enough to hype anyone up and you would expect the movie to give the thrill and suspense it was expected to deliver.
The movie has a good story for a thriller but the plot was very bad. It was quite unenjoyable and unbelievable to watch a blind girl navigate a mansion, that she has spent less than 24 hours in, in such a stealthy manner while trying to avoid the three men that were in there with her. She did a good job at staying hidden initially but the concept is so unrealistic that it makes it bland to watch.
The performances of the actors were also very subpar that it makes the movie even harder to watch. I'm struggling to see a movie with a terrible plot and the actors are also trying their best to deliver the most mediocre performance they can give. I can only commend the performance of Emily Piggford, who played the Deputy officer, as the only performance that stood out in this movie. For such a minor character, she put up a good performance and it was nice to see at least one thing done well in this movie.
The lighting in this movie should be the worst I have ever seen in my life. Most of the events happened at night but the lighting was so poor that I hardly saw what was ever going on. I've seen movies with most of the events taking place at night, even movies that have a night scene, and they are usually very visible. The poor lighting made me feel like I was the blind one trapped in a house. It is a movie involving a visually impaired individual but I don't see why we viewers need to be visually impaired to watch it.
This movie deserves a rating of 2/10. This rating could be lower as there's nothing about this movie that is enjoyable. It is just a waste of time and I promise you that you'll get more excitement from watching paint dry than you would from this movie.
If you are expecting a plot twist in this movie, you'll get it. The movie misses the point of incorporating a plot twist and decided to use the twist in this movie to make it even worse.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I was really amused to see that this movie has a rating of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. Well, I know better than to trust Rotten Tomatoes anymore because it seems like those who make the unusual reviews don't like the good things.
The criminals were as dumb as the movie itself because it seems like they were the ones who were visually and audible impaired, not Sophie. Sophie does not also deserve to live happily ever after, her character is very unlikable and she is not so different from the criminals who broke in, the only difference being that she's actually blind while the criminals just choose to be blind, deaf and dumb.
Also, what was the point of the cat???
If you want a good thriller with a similar story, I would recommend Don't Breathe. The same concept but much better to watch in every way. Anyway, here's the trailer for See for Me. I hope you have a goodnight rest while watching this.

MI OPINIÓN SOBRE ESTA PELÍCULA
La película comenzó lentamente, pero comenzó bastante bien. Nos hicieron saber quién era Sophie y cómo se volvió discapacitada visual. La música que se usó después de la escena de introducción fue lo suficientemente buena como para entusiasmar a cualquiera y uno esperaría que la película ofreciera la emoción y el suspenso que se esperaba que ofreciera.
La película tiene una buena historia para un thriller pero la trama era muy mala. Fue bastante desagradable e increíble ver a una niña ciega navegar por una mansión, en la que ha pasado menos de 24 horas, de una manera tan sigilosa mientras intentaba evitar a los tres hombres que estaban allí con ella. Al principio hizo un buen trabajo manteniéndose oculta, pero el concepto es tan poco realista que lo hace insípido de ver.
Las actuaciones de los actores también fueron muy inferiores, lo que hace que la película sea aún más difícil de ver. Estoy luchando por ver una película con una trama terrible y los actores también están haciendo todo lo posible para ofrecer la actuación más mediocre que pueden dar. Solo puedo elogiar la actuación de Emily Piggford, quien interpretó a la oficial adjunta, como la única actuación que se destacó en esta película. Para un personaje tan secundario, hizo una buena actuación y fue bueno ver al menos una cosa bien hecha en esta película.
La iluminación de esta película debería ser la peor que he visto en mi vida. La mayoría de los eventos sucedieron de noche, pero la iluminación era tan pobre que apenas vi lo que estaba pasando. Si esperas un giro en la trama de esta película, lo obtendrás. La película pierde el punto de incorporar un giro en la trama y decidió usar el giro en esta película para empeorarlo aún más.
PENSAMIENTOS FINALES
Me divirtió mucho ver que esta película tiene una calificación del 80% en Rotten Tomatoes. Bueno, sé que no debo seguir confiando en Rotten Tomatoes porque parece que a los que hacen reseñas inusuales no les gustan las cosas buenas.
Los criminales eran tan tontos como la película misma porque parece que eran ellos los que tenían discapacidades visuales y auditivas, no Sophie. Sophie tampoco merece vivir felices para siempre, su personaje es muy desagradable y no es tan diferente de los criminales que irrumpieron, la única diferencia es que en realidad es ciega mientras que los criminales eligen ser ciegos, sordos y mudos.
Además, ¿cuál era el punto del gato?
Si quieres un buen thriller con una historia similar, te recomiendo Don't Breathe. El mismo concepto pero mucho mejor para ver en todos los sentidos. De todos modos, aquí está el tráiler de See for Me. Espero que tengas un buen descanso mientras ves esto.

Now this is what I call a funny review. There is clearly a lot of emotion behind your post. I haven't even heard of this movie yet and it sounds so bad. Maybe the bad lighting was a form of dark humor. Also the plot twist sounds really cool🤡

Hace tiempo vi una película de Terror/Suspenso llamada Hushen esta película vemos una chica sorda en una caballa en el medio de la nada siendo acosada por un hombre misterioso y bueno ya lo demás te lo dejo como tarea. La idea pintaba interesante y no porque fuera innovadora ya que teníamos otra película con un estilo similar pero con sus obvias diferencias la que todos conocemos como No respires no era algo que nunca se hubiera abordado y en otras películas lo hacen solo que esta es más famosa.
Cuando vi See for me debo decir que tenia muchas esperanzas de que fuera algo entretenida y llena de suspenso no diferente a las que ya existen, pero que marcara alguna diferencia y bueno hasta cierto punto hicieron algo distinto ya sabes la chica ciega que no es de todo santa con par de giros inesperados, pero joder fue tan floja la ejecución y como diría un viejo amigo sin nada de sabor y ritmo que me dio una flojera solo verla y dios sabe muy bien que le tenia fe.
Joder tenía tanto potencial y lo dejaron pasar por debajo de la mesa y es que no entiendo en que estaban pensando cuando decidieron darle ese tono tan siempre que solo jugaba a dar giros pero sin efecto.
