This week we change the number of the week, instead of week # 2, we have the week # 2.35.
I want to express my satisfaction and gratitude to all the participants of the first week. All of you expressed many feelings in your posts. I think that's because the contest's subject, a rose, made each participant leave in addition to their rose, a little of their heart. Esta semana cambiamos el número de la semana, en vez de semana #2, tenemos el concurso #2.35.
Quiero manifestar mi complacencia y agradecimiento a todos los participantes de esta primera semana. Todos plasmaron muchos sentimientos en su publicación. Creo que por ser el motivo, una rosa, hizo que cada participante dejara además de su rosa, un poco de su corazón. Crean que leí sus publicaciones con mucho placer, así como sentí que en ella, ustedes dejaron su amor y su esfuerzo.

Beet.
The beet is a plant, that has edible leaves and root. Its root is a vegetable that is used both as a drink and/or for eating in salads. I have them in my garden in pots.
It has a rich contribution in vitamin C and B, iron, folic acid, protein and other very important trace elements in our immune system.
Sowing from the seeds. The seeds i usually obtain from stores that sell naturist products.
When the seed is born, about two or three seedlings come out. They separate on their own after some time. And then I proceed to separate them to sow in its final place.
La remolacha.
La remolacha es una planta, donde sus hojas y su raíz son comestibles. Su raíz es una hortaliza que se usa tanto para tomar, como bebida como para comer, en ensaladas. Yo las tengo en mi huerta en macetas.
Tiene un rico aporte en vitamina C y B, hierro, ácido fólico, proteína y otros oligoelementos muy importantes en nuestro sistema inmunológico.
La siembro a partir de las semillas. Las semillas se consiguen en los comercios que, expenden productos naturistas.
Cuando la semilla nace, salen unas dos o tres plántulas. Se separan a partir de algún tiempo. Y se procede a separar para sembrar en su lugar definitivo.
Después de cierto tiempo están listas para su cosecha y consumo. En esta imagen se pueden observar varias remolachas en una sola maceta. Con buen abono, solo queda esperar un buen desarrollo de la planta.
After some time they are ready for harvest and consumption. In this image you can see several beets in a single pot. With good fertilizer, you just have to wait for a good development on the plant.
Ya hecha la recolección, se aprecia que es de poco tamaño, pero con la seguridad que es un buen producto orgánico. No tiene ningún aditivo químico, que desmejore su sabor.
Uso tanto la raíz como las hojas en la realización de la ensalada. Las hojas tiernas, tienen buen sabor, y la remolacha ya cocida, es un mejor acompañante de mesa de almuerzo.
After I picked I up you can appreciate that it is small, but with the assurance that it is a good organic product. It has no chemical additive, which will diminish its flavor.
I use both the root and the leaves in the salad. The tender leaves taste good, and the cooked beet is a better lunch table companion.
