Oh yeah, I have also experiecned this before, what they do is that, they allow a huge pump on a certain shitcoin after which when that coin pumps higher, then they leave the market and allow you to be in the bear and you suffer the losses

My only bad experience was participating in a crypto sale where I was buying haha yeah I saw it go up 2000% and when I wanted to sell I could not. I learned not to believe in fairy tales and to learn and investigate on my own.
