Taxes are indeed obsolete and don't make any sense at all when you have money printed out of thin air. It's also hard to ban crypto at this point. It's beyond their power. All they can do is create their shitty CBDCs.

If, say, the USA and the EU, banned the trading of crypto for fiat and made it illegal, it would destroy the market for all crypto. Institutions would be completely gone from the space. Crypto would dealt with a severe blow and space would be forced to go underground. It wouldn't disappear but the industry would be back to where it was in 2012 or 2011.
