The Taste of Diesel and Hive in The Morning

in LeoFinance2 years ago

I wake up pretty early almost every morning. I am out of bed before 8 AM and I will have to "thank my neighbors" for that. These fuckers are so noisy they're freaking annoying. I guess there are some karma payments going on here as I used to be quite noisy back in the day as well.

I'm not a fan of going shopping on an empty stomach, but I've done it this morning. I got myself some youtube inspiration related to healthy diet food the other day and had to do some shopping today. Soon after I woke up I took the garbage out and started the "diesel engine" on my car so it can run for a minute before I go, and went shopping.

Diesel smoke has its flavor, you know :). It's something I can't mistake with anything in the world, it reminds me of my childhood and my dad's Passat. These were the good old days of eating healthy food, spending time out, reading, and enjoying life without much distraction.

We live in a social media world right now. It's called social media because through such media they're making us "social". Social media tells us who should we vote for, who should we support and what should we fear next. Social media made Putin a tyrant and Zelensky a hero. While Putin may be a tyrant indeed, I believe 100% that Zelensky is no hero. That man is a joke, a puppet.

The same media is also telling us for some good years now that electric cars are the future, and they might be, although that does not necessarily mean the future has to be bright and that fossil fuel vehicles are destroying the planet. I disagree with that.

Building the batteries for the EVs that many people are driving now has a "producing cost" that is truly felt by the planet and charging stations are not necessarily "solar panel powered" either. Hence, when you dig a bit into the EVs equation you'll see there's not much green about it.

I was reading today about some state in America planning on having license plates having some sort of electronic display. What a fuckery, I said to myself... I love technology and I consider it to be the drive of humanity's progress, but too much use of it will have its downsides as well.

So...

Let's play a game of imagination, shall we... Let's say you own a Tesla, let's say that diesel and gasoline cars have been extinct and you're trying to go to work by using your Tesla and when trying to "power it up" it says that your car has been disabled for 48 hours and that you will only have power for a maximum of 200 KM a month for the next three months cuz of some "hate speech" or something you said on the internet a week ago.

What do you do?

Don't tell me it's not going to happen, cuz whatever is software-based can be hacked and the hackers can be the producers themselves. Such similar situations occurred already in Canada when people's bank accounts were frozen due to the fact that these individuals have donated to the freedom convoy supporting freedom.

It can happen with your Facebook or Twitter account as well, if you say something nasty, but none of these can happen when using a combustion engine or Hive. No one can stop me now from driving to Budapest and back with my diesel car and literally no one can stop me from expressing myself free on Hive.

This is the blend of technology I'm after, rather than smart cities, Teslas, and QR codes. I haven't been a QR code during the pandemic, don't plan on becoming one any time soon, and am also not willing to be at the mercy of some algorithm or software.

So, the conclusion is that in order to make the most of our freedom we shouldn't be running away from technology, but rather use it with cautiousness. Hive is the epitome of online freedom and internal combustion engines are the same for our freedom to travel. Have a great day, people, and see you in the next post.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

With thechnology it's always this blood-red line between use and abuse.

I doubt if electric cars will complete replace petrol cars.
It just a lie that manufacturers want to use in order to gain more attention on thier product.
For instance, when automatic vehicles was introduced, people thought that manual gear will be extinct but check out, we still have the gear tappers.

Instead of running away from technology it is time to find or way around it because it the future.

They can limit the amount o as you can purchase if they want. With solar panels on your roof, they can't.

If they can get into your car's software they can tweak it as they please.

I have had a car on a loan in Canada. They installed a GPS device so they can track where the car is. And if I would skip a payment they were able to shut down the engine and pick up the car. It was an internal combustion engine.
We're already fucked.

I'd still along side my busted ass car.. roll a fatty.. and think of all the different "hate-speech" I was gonna use when I got someone who would listen on the phone.. I'd rehearse the entire conversation in my head until I had just the right about of hate so as to make my point.. but not enough to get the ban extended. Fucking Commie bastards..

Fucking Commie bastards

You're damn right on this one.
