Polkadot and Ethereum are two decentralized blockchain networks with more or less the same functions. It acts as a platform for other projects like Dapps, in which case you have your own DOT and ETHER coins.
Everyone knows the size of Ethereum with its many features and mastery in the DeFi ecosystem. By analyzing the above data compared to others, it can be seen that Ethereum is far ahead of Polkadot.
As experts point out, the biggest difference between them is that Polkadot was developed to merge as existing blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum and coexist against pure competition.
However, the great results of the Polkadot launch raised questions.
Will Polkadot be the new Ethere?
It's hard to guess because Ethereum is an established network that is a platform for many other stablecoins and alticoins, but only time will tell.
