Part 3/9:
Nestled in the Old City, La Barceloneta is famous for its sandy beach and bustling boardwalk filled with restaurants and nightclubs. While the beach can become crowded during summer months, it remains a vibrant hub of activity. One of La Barceloneta's crowning jewels is the iconic W Hotel, designed to resemble a sail, embodying the spirit of coastal leisure.
3. Park Güell
Park Güell is a public park located on Carmel Hill, designed with urbanization in mind by Antoni Gaudí as commissioned by Eusebi Güell. Opened as a public space in 1926, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is adorned with whimsical gardens and architectonic elements. While much of the park is free to explore, a small fee is required to access signature areas such as the curved mosaic bench and the famous lizard sculpture.
