Part 2/7:
The story begins with an idyllic view of a coastal house that captures the eyes, and hearts, of four characters: Charlie, his wife Michelle, and his brother Josh with his girlfriend Mina. The vacation is meant to serve as a celebration of Charlie’s success in business and an opportunity for the couples to bond. Despite the exorbitant cost of the rental, they believe they deserve this escape from real life.
Soon after they arrive at the rental property, it becomes evident that tensions may lurk just beneath the surface. The rental owner, whose surface charm quickly slips, is introduced with an unsettling air. His peculiar remarks towards Mina ignite feelings of discomfort, hinting at undercurrents of potential prejudices.
