In the aftermath of the disaster, chaos emerges on board. As passengers struggle to cope with their predicament, many turn to the Mima for solace. MR faces mounting stress as the demand for Mima's services increases, prompting her to confess her struggles to fellow shipmates and seek additional help.
Life on ANIARA
As the journey stretches into months, we see MR's interactions with other characters, including Isagel, the ship's pilot, and the Astronomer, who reflect the crew's deteriorating mental health. The film illustrates over time how the passengers devise various coping mechanisms, from embracing Mima's escape to forming cults as a means of finding meaning in their existence.
