Benjamin Alcott is portrayed as a philanthropist with a heart rooted in his tumultuous childhood. During the event, he gives a heartfelt speech, where he reflects on his past struggles with illness and loneliness. His financial success as a timber supplier does little to obscure the compassionate persona he presents. However, beneath the surface, whispers of environmental controversies and corporate maneuvers linger.
