One such theory posits that aluminum atoms may have fused with iron during the process, reminiscent of a Joshua-type reaction. It was also speculated that the copper present might be linked to oxygen fusion within the iron matrix. Notably, the zinc content was thought to originate from moisture in the air that might have integrated with the copper during its formation.
Additionally, sulfur was theorized to be a product of oxygen fusion reactions, while lead was observed at the tails of reaction chambers, with its presence attributed to various materials being amalgamated during experiments.
