There are already drone communities on Hive, they just aren't very active unfortunately.
We have regulations here too. Everywhere does. You just have to know how to get around them. For us, the main thing is if you don't have a license, then you need to stay under 250 grams. That and don't fly around airports or infrastructure like power and water plants. Some cities will have their own regulations, but it's not like the cops are out looking for you unless you are being an asshole with it. That's why we hit abandoned spots for the most part, so that we don't bother people and can just have fun.
And when you learn to freestyle, you'll find spots to fly everywhere, haha, especially with tiny whoops. You just have to be creative.
