Part 6/9:
Building an outdoor stadium in Buffalo comes with unique challenges, particularly concerning the region's heavy snowfall. In response, the Bills have collaborated with renowned architects, using advanced engineering to create a venue that feels indoor while remaining outdoor. With clever design elements such as a substantial canopy to shelter fans and ingenious heating systems for the field, the new High Mark Stadium aims to tackle Buffalo's winter weather effectively.
The stadium's canopy will cover 64% of the seats and feature the world's largest snow melt system. It's designed to detect moisture and melt snow, while the field will contain a heating unit to keep players safe during games played under less than favorable conditions.
