To initiate your Bloomberg Terminal journey, you'll need to log in, which emphasizes security above all. For users accessing the terminal remotely through Bloomberg Anywhere, biometric authentication is a must. This colorful feature is delivered through the Bloomberg Anywhere app—referred to as the BUID app. If you haven't already, downloading this app to your mobile device is critical. It allows for secure login with your username, password, and biometric data.
If you are logging in from a dedicated Bloomberg terminal, the process is simplified with a fingerprint scanner located at the top right of the Bloomberg keyboard. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your login securely.
