While minor improvements might emerge in the short term, it seems unlikely that both companies will reverse their dwindling internet subscriber counts anytime soon. The reality is that cord cutting has evolved beyond simply halting cable subscriptions; it now encapsulates an active rejection of the companies that have long dominated the landscape.
