Part 7/15:

Modern civilization, especially through the lens of its dominant ideology—often characterized as anti-civilization—is built upon rejecting traditional sources of meaning: religion, family, community, and the divine. The modern myth, driven by technological progress, is a relentless pyramid that constricts at the top: progress becomes an end in itself, ultimately leading to stagnation, decline, and cultural bankruptcy.

Modern progress also fosters a dangerous "future debt," where societies continually push forward faster and faster—yet without clear direction or understanding of ultimate goals. This frantic acceleration leads to strategic errors, societal fatigue, and a looming cliff of decline—evident in falling birthrates, declining social trust, and cultural disconnection.
