Mr Scorsese on Apple TV Plus is a five part documentary about Martin Scorsese and its a incredible deep dive into his whole life and career, Rebecca Miller got access to everything from home videos to interviews with Robert De Niro Leonardo DiCaprio and Steven Spielberg, goes through his movies chronologically from childhood to Killers of the Flower Moon, Scorsese is super honest about his cocaine addiction and how he almost destroyed himself, only weird part is the last episode rushes through 20 years and skips Hugo entirely which is strange, still a fantastic watch tho. Severance Season 3 just got bad news because Ben Stiller will not be directing anymore which is a huge blow, dude directed most of the first two seasons and his style is all over the show, all his previous movies like Reality Bites and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty dealt with corporate dehumanization and absurd humor same as Severance, the show is still in early pre production so we might not see it until 2027 now, hopefully Apple TV finds a good replacement but Stillers vision was such a big part of what made this show special.
