Why Has No Justice Been Served?
The key obstacle remains—proof. Twenty-five years of investigation, countless searches, and testimonies have produced no body. Mob figures are expert at cover-ups, and witnesses often recant or disappear. Without a body or stone-solid evidence, prosecutors face enormous challenges in securing a conviction—even with tapes and confessions.
