Founded in 1922 as Swallow Sidecar, Jaguar evolved into a global symbol of British automotive refinement. During the mid-20th century, it was known for its stunning designs and success on racing circuits, earning accolades and a reputation as the car of choice for movie stars, royalty, and the elite. Enzo Ferrari himself supposedly called the Jaguar E-Type "the most beautiful car ever made."
Yet, despite its illustrious history, Jaguar’s early trouble began in the 1970s with quality issues and outdated designs. While loyal customers remained devoted, younger generations viewed Jaguars as old-fashioned, setting the stage for trouble ahead.
