The journey was not without its challenges. The Neoliner Origin initially made stops at Sierre and Mikolong, French overseas territories near Canada, before embarking on its transatlantic crossing. During the voyage, a storm caused damage to its after sail, forcing the crew to partially rely on its motorized systems to maintain propulsion. Despite this setback, the vessel demonstrated its potential as a hybrid propulsion system blending wind energy with traditional engines.
