Nadya’s journey is rooted in her personal experiences. Growing up, she was outraged by the systemic injustices faced by women and menstruating individuals. She witnessed how period stigma caused girls to miss school, with policies and taxes that penalized menstruation—a double standard considering products like Viagra and Rogaine are exempt from sales taxes despite being medical necessities.
Her activism began early; she started a nonprofit at 16 to fight period stigma, eventually growing it into one of the largest efforts against such societal issues. Her drive led her to Harvard, where she ran for office, authored a book on menstrual activism, and founded a marketing agency focused on Gen Z causes.
