With support from organizations like the Stand Together network, leaders are strategizing to replicate these educational initiatives across other correctional facilities. As Pica articulated, "if we can succeed at this level inside of a maximum-security prison, then we can succeed anywhere under any circumstance."
This collaborative approach aims to foster a cultural change—one that views incarcerated individuals as potential contributors rather than merely offenders. The broader goal is to create a society where second chances are normalized, and former inmates are seen as helpers who can rebuild communities.
