Thanks to initial seed funding, Viva Vita was able to acquire equipment and pilot their programs in select locations. Early results are encouraging, with plans to expand their reach begin in early 2020. The goal is to collect more data on how VR experiences impact mental health indicators such as mood, energy levels, and overall positivity.
Berryman emphasizes that, as VR sessions increase, so will the understanding of their efficacy, paving the way for more widespread adoption in senior care settings.
