In response to this crisis, an innovative initiative called The Master’s Apprentice has been launched. Its mission is to guide urban, young adults toward fulfilling careers in the skilled trades—careers that promise decent incomes and a foundation to support their families. The program aims to address both youth unemployment and the unmet labor needs of small businesses and corporations seeking qualified employees.
