Eric Schmidt, former Google CEO and AI thought leader, clarifies this by stating that AI already exceeds humans in many domains, such as language translation, rapid calculations, and extensive knowledge retrieval across fields like chemistry, biology, and sports. However, he emphasizes that this current state is not full-blown superintelligence but rather "superhuman" in specific instances.
