To minimize my risk of infection, I placed an air filter close to me. Avoiding gatherings and ensuring proper ventilation are crucial measures, especially considering the ongoing pandemic. The presence of many people, their shouting, and cheering didn't significantly diminish the enjoyment I experienced, partly thanks to these safety precautions.
Reflections on Traditional Concert Rituals and CO₂ Spikes
As the concert progressed, I found myself pondering the tradition of lighting lighters during performances, which can cause temporary spikes in CO₂ levels. I observed that at one point, CO₂ levels spiked dramatically, likely due to the collective inhalation and exhalation of the crowd. Despite this, I continued to have fun, though I couldn't help but wonder about the health implications.
