On the night of November 7th, Anna was reported missing after she had told her family she wasn't feeling well and retreated to her cabin. The next morning, her absence prompted a ship-wide search, which ended in a devastating discovery. Her lifeless body was found crumpled beneath a bed, wrapped in a blanket and covered by life jackets inside the cabin she shared with her 14- and 16-year-old stepbrothers. Due to her death occurring in international waters, the FBI took charge of the investigation upon the vessel’s return to Miami.
