Meanwhile, the controversial Solo: A Star Wars Story faced production issues, with directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller dismissed midway and Ron Howard stepping in to complete the film.
The Current Slate: Uncertain and Fragmented
Despite numerous cancellations, some projects are supposedly still active, including films from Taika Waititi and Sean Levy. However, these are years away and face uncertain futures, especially given the franchise’s ongoing struggles with audience retention and quality decline.
