Chinese EV brands are deploying multiple strategies to maintain their growth trajectory:
Local Assembly in Europe: Many Chinese companies are setting up assembly plants or partnering with established contract manufacturers such as Magnus to produce vehicles locally. This approach allows them to bypass tariffs and reduce costs.
Market Diversification: Chinese brands are also investing heavily in their home market, engaging in price wars that further decrease manufacturing costs. The excess capacity and falling prices in China enable them to price competitively abroad.
