While the eggs are boiling, we move on to preparing the star ingredient: sausage. Using Cajun-style Andouille sausage, known for its robust flavor, we cut it into pieces and prepare to sear it. A preheated skillet ensures the sausage will get a beautiful golden color, which adds depth to the overall dish.
A drizzle of oil in the skillet helps achieve that crispy texture, and once one side is seared, the sausages get a flip to brown on the other side. After reaching perfection, the sausages are removed and set aside.
