For even more decorative flair, cookie stamps are a favorite tool. Simply press a small piece of dough into a stamp, freeze the stamped cookies, then transfer them to parchment-lined baking sheets. Baking at 350°F for about 15 minutes results in beautifully patterned, golden cookies.
The cookies must cool completely before handling, as they are fragile when warm. Once cooled, they're perfect for decorating: drizzle with melted white or dark chocolate, dip in sprinkles, or leave as is to enjoy their pure, buttery goodness.
