How the FUCK can you say you want regulation under the old standard when new technology is staring you right in the face. HOW?
We all get the point that human nature is there wherever you go. Wherever you go there will be scammers and unscrupulous people. There will also be Vitaliks and Cronjes who get it. Going down in history as a legend is worth more than money. Defi working is a testament to the fact that more people want to be legends than misanthropes. And a chosen few get the hidden lesson — you can be a legend and be rich if you got skills and ADD VALUE TO HUMANITY.
None of us like scammers. But none of us, at least those of us with sense, want the scammers in government to superimpose their scams on the smaller ones we face now.
Do your own research is NOT a joke. I've only been caught in one rugpull, and I went into that project with both eyes open. You're just like Klaus Schwab or any other oligarch who looks at humanity in general like a housepet that you have to control for its own good. The viewpoint is arrogant and overbearing, but more than anything it's antiquated.
We have the technology for decentralized regulation.
The fact that you would even consider centralized regulation in a world of new possibilities is ridiculous. It showcases a pessimistic, cynical view of humanity that I honestly think is not your own. We are all infected by a mainstream media that profits from fostering anemia in us. Soul fixes everything. Soul plus technology moves us forward.
Why the FUCK don't you turn to the regulators and say, "Include this technology in your regulation. Use the technology to create a dispassionate ruleset that everyone can agree to and opt in as a choice. The weaknesses in your personality and the holes you'd place in your policies don't have to matter in today's society, because we have the smart contract.
Learn the smart contract and use the smart contract, which is a better arbiter than you, instead of thinking that your inferior process can regulate the smart contract."
Put some pressure on your politicians to function as public servants instead of celebrities for once in this generation! Actually demand that they LEARN and implement the technology that is available to them before you just say that they should come in and regulate shit like Nate Dogg and Warren G! That's like telling your old Commodore that you better run this Call of Duty file. It can't do it! Force them to use the new technology!
Why can't you say this to politicians instead of thinking that you need some old failed old school form of regulation that leads to rampant problems in society? Jesus Christ. WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY. But you don't want to build the Six Million Dollar Man. You want to find some way to shoehorn in the old type of regulation. I can't stand it.
Stop writing articles that pit old school regulation against unregulated crypto markets. If the regulators would learn how to use smart contracts and decentralize their regulation away from their shit personalities, THAt would be a good compromise.
