Well Japan is fairly small and their aging population has really turned them towards automation. The only thing I think is missing there is giant robots since they seem to want them in animes all the time.
It's good to see them repurpose an old site into something useful and futureristic. I know they are pressed for space over there and have a population problem they need to deal with. We wish them luck!
