Yea the wages of people have not really gone up as much. I think it was better under trump as you finally saw some wage increases. All you need to do is compare the pay executives for companies get compared to their workers to see the huge difference.

France, according to advanced news recently fined Google 220 million euros due to the fact that in the competition part it is understood that competitors in the market are penalized and seems to have assumed since so far Google does not seem to have presented any type of contestation.
The Brent price seems to be around 72.31 today, with the minimum value being 71.62
Today, the main Bitcoin cryptocurrency is located at a value of around 29,218.14 euros with some fluctuations.
Well google and every single big tech platform has their own issues to deal with. At the same time, I would not be surprised if money is talking in how things are approached.

So I think I made my decision and I think I'll be using my monthly purchase for the CUB/BUSD pool. The generated CUB will go into my DEN/kingdom in the future. I will action it in a few hours.

Fees are fine on BSC. They've actually been almost reasonable on ETH lately as well. As for qualifying for the airdrop, I've got to imagine that the Den CUB will count. Not sure on the farms simply because it may be difficult to calculate. Or not. I'm not a coder. I would think they'd have to count as well or they risk people moving out of them and trashing liquidity in the name of getting the airdrop but....I haven't heard anything one way or the other.

I get the fact that the value is going down but....how can it be painful?!? This is literally why people get killed in these markets. Down is GOOD if you think this is something you'll own for the next 5 years. Seriously, you need to change your entire viewpoint on this stuff or you'll end up being one of the ones getting rekt by a bad dip.
If you're not going to sell this anytime soon than down is a positive. Not a negative. You can buy and get more for curation when it's lower. Period.

Well Kevin shared the website to the holdings but it should be relatively easy for them to see how much CUB you have staked. I also just did my transfer and buy into the network. Besides a few UI issues in Cub Finance, it took me about 15 minutes or so to get everything moved in and staked.

Don't look now, but there's been an uptick on the price of CUB. I said the other day I was a buyer and I put some money where my mouth is this morning and added some at 52 cents. Woohoo! I'm already in a profit! :-) Of course I still have a ways to go to hit my breakeven price but....not as far as you might think since I've added so many for free with the staking.
I saw task say he bought some in the last couple days. Anyone else take advantage or planning to? Personally, I think we could see it move back up closer to $1 over the next couple weeks. 56 to 84 cents would be a 50% move.....nothing to sneeze at. Just sayin'....

If we look at automation (self driving) as a phase-in, it looks like we are entering a serious one in Texas with trucking.
Waymo is now partnering with a trucking firm to move cargo across Texas. This will have human drivers overseeing to start but the plan is to get around that at some point.
I have a feeling, if the technology keeps developing, this is something that will move rather quickly. My guess is that it is the norm within 5 years, at least on the highways.

Microsoft did a test last year on this, submerging a data cabinet in the water to see how long it would run for. I think they used a redesigned cargo container.
The Chinese are taking this a step further. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Use the coolness of the water to keep counter the heat generated by the computers.

I am of the belief that the governments are going to push control of crypto too far that it moves developers to code entirely new privacy features onto what they are building.
This is a move I believe will backfire on the establishment.

When I first discovered crypto I was very excited to tell people about what it is and how it works, but now after seeing how easy it is to get wrecked, I'm a bit more realistic with my descriptions and they usually come with a lot of warnings and disclaimers. Not that I met many people that are interested, I guess I live in a country were investing and managing money is still a largely foreign concept to people, as you are expected to buy a bigger house or a more expensive car if you have more disposable income.
Anyway we should have a dedicated place on Hive were people can cry, bitch or moan about the price, development or whatever they feel like. I think it could be a funny way to blow some steam if people don't take it too seriously.
Oh, and if any of you wondered where I was yesterday, I wrote a few words about it on noise cash. I don't know if I'll be able to keep posting everyday throughout the summer, probably not, but I'll give it a shot. So if I'm gone for a few days presume that I've ran away from it all in the woods or in the mountains.

I think that's true to some extent when it comes to developing countries. It will act as a little upgrade to the current monetary system. Will only make it easier to buy bitcoin.
But that's a narrative they are pushing out far to get CBDCs accepted.

Pretty philosophical essay that fellow put together. My question is does shit have intrinsic value? Yes it does both in getting rid of it and having it.
Farmers like to have shit for fertilizer so for them it has intrinsic value. People like to get rid of it because if they keep it they do not feel good.

This is a very interesting idea posed by Max Keiser for El Salvador. It actually is a way for the country to get out from under the IMG's thumb.
Put forth Volcano bonds which raises the money to pay off the debt and then use the proceeds from the mining operations to pay the bond holders.
Now we can see why the IMF hates the idea so much.

Great idea that government should look into! If I were them I would only sell to their citizens though. They do not need to have foreign countries owning their bonds. Maybe the bonds could be sold for BTC? Guess they would have to accept BTC as it is legal tender in their country now.

Witnesses are essentially the people verifying everything happening on the HIVE. The top 20 essentially get paid the most and also do the most work.

Witnesses, also known as block-producers, are pretty much the folks that make HIVE possible. Every transaction made on HIVE is stored on their computer servers (nodes). These nodes are either owned or rented by the witnesses and are located all over the world.
Collectively these nodes are called the HIVE blockchain ledger (like a diary of everything that happens on HIVE but located on a number of different nodes).
Witnesses are also the elected governors of HIVE. The top 21 witnesses (number 21 is a tie-breaker) influence the developmental direction of the blockchain and its economics. Every HIVE account, great or small, is eligible to vote for a maximum of 30 witnesses.
