I bought some after my recent issues so that I can stay in the game in case something happened in the future such as when I had to give up my internet access. Got some CTPM, VIBESM, LEOM and LEOMM miners. But you really do need a lot to see a nice return.

That's why it's best to get in early when the prices are low. The other thing is to keep buying bit by bit, so as not to fall too far behind. Since I'm not one of the big players here and don't attract the big upvotes, I combine that with delegating to leo.voter etc. which helps me add to my LEO stack.

I guess I had a WORKERBEE but I delegated it to a pool to get a consistent return. Also I bought a INCOME token recently for the small chance I get some HIVE. Besides that, I don't have any other miners.

I know it's a lottery but having just one or two of a miner doesn't get you much of a chance to get the tokens.

Oh yeah same here , I guess WORKERBEE is the only miner which has delegation enabled and I have delegated that to ph-ctp to get returns .

I don't know about INCOME token , is it a buy and hold like LBI , SPI , DHEDGE?

It's basically a gamble. Once a person wins once, they are taken off the list for the day. There was a post about it around 2 weeks ago below. It was fairly cheap and I don't think it will lose too much value.

I always am fond of these kind of tokens lol . Anything that has probability associated with it in big way is always good for analysis . Thanks for sharing it , I will check it out and buy some .

Yea I think some people split the tokens among their alts. Because once you win, the rest of the miners won't pick you for that day.

I see . Is the payout handsome atleast? Any info about APR and stuff?

The payment everyday is consistent (same amount). I am not sure about the APR or any of that. You may have to run the numbers

I am not huge into them. I have some for ARCHON which are now worth a tidy sum.

I will say BROfund goes heavily into miners and did very well with them. From what I understand, you need a lot of them to really get the payout. I had some for PAL and dumped them. It was only a small handful.

I guess over time they provide a decent return but I think there are better ways of going about things unless you are going to be buy a ton of them.

That's the popular opinion but it isn't actually true . You buy 1 LEOM the breakeven is same when compared to 10 LEOM . It most certainly is a long term investment ( 1.5-2 years ) .

But one thing which we should keep in mind is - having large amount of miners is beneficial because of the compounding effect. Although the breakeven is same if we stake the LEO or other tokens mined , we will earn more from curation.

Ah okay. I stand corrected.

I thought that they were a lottery type system on the payouts meaning that larger miner holders had a better chance than ones who had less. Like buying more in a 50/50 raffle.

It is actually like that . You can see brofund getting mining_rewards every single hour and some other small token holders get once in a month ( not exaggerating ) but over long time the probability will play its part and the breakeven is same for everyone irrespective of small or large holdings.
