This has to be my longest streak without posting on Hive of 2022. I mention 2022 because during 2021 and 2020 I had longer streaks but that was mainly due to other reasons other than just literally not having enough time during the day to post.
I haven't had time. At all. Real life has been a pain in the ass with me and I haven't had time to sit for 2 seconds until right now that I finally finished up moving - yeah, I moved houses -, and getting back on track with all the bullet points of my to-do-list for Leo Finance.
I wasn't dead, I just didn't find the time to write on Hive through Leo Finance.
It's funny, now that I have the time, I have no idea what to write about, I actually just want to go lie down and watch a movie. But the hustle never stops.

If you're not making tons of passive income from your 7 million dollars invested in tens of farms across the DeFiverse, then you're not allowed to take breaks - that's according to my books, maybe not yours, which is fine - until you manage to reach a point where you can afford to not grind.
I mean, even Google - don't get me started on Google - knows that the grind never stops.

This doesn't mean I am not allowed to have fun or to enjoy my free time, it just means that my mindset is settled at there is always energy to grind a little bit more before going to bed, or right when you wake up instead of opening Instagram, you can make a Hive post. Do you get the point? Am I sharing the idea correctly?
There is always energy for the grind. If you have no time, I hope as fuck - yeah, I coined that term - that you are not wasting it, and you simply don't have time for the hustle because you spend too much time on the grind side of life, you know?
Which brings me to the topic of this post. Yeah, that was an introduction, crazy huh?
Netflix stock price plummets 20%
Netflix is finally paying the price of going woke, and I couldn't be happier about it. There's a lot to say about this topic and how corporations are moving towards the same goal in unison, but this post is not about conspiracy theories - a topic I'm seriously considering to adopt and write about every Friday of 2022, let's see if I get to it - but about how a simple piece of news can crash a stock price so much.

That's a beautiful headline if you are against the narrative Netflix follows and the agenda they serve to, but it is also a gorgeous image if you are anti-corporations, pro libertarianism, anti big government and much more. Well, it should be beautiful for you if you are reading this on Leo Finance and Hive.
Netflix blamed the loss of 200k subscribers due to increased competition, password sharing as well as inflation and the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine for the stagnant subscriber growth.
Meh, I believe this happened because every single show on Netflix shoves down our throats the black gay character, the transgender latino, the empowered female who needs no man and also happens to be asexual, the white man in a position of power as the antagonist, and the racially diverse support cast in a country or time where it's just not that way. But I'm going astray, this is not the topic of the post.
I mean, this also has to do with Covid measures being dropped worldwide - I guess the Corona Virus decided to go to sleep, suddenly - and people not spending so much time at home now, which leads to subscriptions cancelled, as well as the whole Russia bananas where Netflix in a woke turn of events and taking the chance to virtue signal from their capitalistic setup, decided to cancel all the Russian subscriptions - as if Ivana or Vlad from Rostov had any saying in what Mr Chad Putin does with his oligarch kingdom.
But that's not the point, the point is...
How can I profit from this?

Look I'm no shark and I have no idea what I'm talking about here but, personally, I think the stock will recover and one can easily make a 10% gain within the next few days, you just have to time the bottom. I wouldn't advise you to do so and I'm not going to, Netflix(NFLX)is doomed and I wouldn't touch it even if you paid me.
But I mean, we are crypto people, 10% is a terrible day at work, right?
OR, OR...
Are we on the verge of an Inverse Gamestop meme?
Weaponized autism could squeeze this situation and bring Netflix and its shareholders to it's knees. How? I have no idea, if I had I wouldn't be writing a post on Leo Finance from my comfy new chair in my cozy home-office room just grinding and hustling, I would be flying in my private jet to Bora Bora.
But my gut tells me we are about to witness a meme situation out of this Netflix bananas. Hear my words.
How can Netflix stay afloat?
It can't - I hope it can't - if it stays on the same track.
Piracy is on the rise and even the normiest of normies knows how to use a VPN and understands that piracing their media is the answer to all these streaming services that charge 10 usd per subscription. Amazon, Hulu, Netflix and all the others need to come up with some sort of federated system where they share the profits in a way that works for everyone, otherwise they will continue to bleed each other and piracy in the end will bleed them to dead.

Good to see you back bro.
It's good you continuing posting. Sometimes a break is good for you. I thought Netflix price dropping, due to the price increases. I only read what's online, so it's not always correct. There's many reasons, or perhaps Dow Jones not performing well, therefore bring rest of the market with it !
Glad to hear you are okay and back 😊
I didn't see the beauty in the headline because I'm clueless, I am just of the opinion that infinite growth is cancerous (which is generally bad) and it bemuses me that this seems to be seen as a desitable outcome by anyone with at least a braincell.
Well that was mind-numbingly stupid.
And how you wrote that had me laughing so hard J wandered over to see what I was laughing at XP
As much as I love the sound of "piracing" I think there's a t instead of a c in there ;D
It would be great if more content creators could make hive or similar (or ko-fi and the like I guess if they're too addicted to the idea of fiat and too scared to contemplate the idea that anything else could possibly exist, but not Patreon I don't like that one either) work. No piracy required then and everyone gets made (things like Netflix, Hulu et al would have to switch to being curation hubs or something rather than subscription models but someone smarter than me will find some way to make that work).
Though I guess with movies it would be harder because they're more expensive off the bat to make.
Glad you were able to sit down long enough to make a post, and did you get to squeeze in a movie after? :) Did you already say what was going on in a post that I haven't read yet? (I hear you on the time thing, there have been some days where I've been blind upvoting because I haven't had time to read x_x)
I haven't been a Netflix subscriber for years. I cancelled because they kept cancelling all my favorite shows after only one season. Over the years I've heard the same from other people, that every time they start to enjoy a show, it's canceled. I've also heard that quality in general has gone to shit as they reinvested profits in corporate paychecks instead of their content and even cut costs from shows. Given all that, I'd already expect subscribers to drop. Add in higher prices and talk of ads and .. well I mean, that is basically just telling their userbase "please, unsubscribe". Idiots.
Right about now , Netflix Inc. shares fell 35.1% on Wednesday, recording their worst day since 2004, after the streaming giant reported that it lost subscribers in the first quarter.
