Perspective from a small account

The Ape Mining Club game saw it's start on August 26th. I do not earn a lot of HIVE, and I have several things I am trying to invest in and grow my account.

There is that old adage that "It takes money to make money". I don't have a lot of HIVE money, so ground floor opportunities can be a help, so I always appreciate when the opportunity comes along where I can see growth of my tiny investments.

Here is the full Pivot table view of my investment so far in Ape Mining Club.

This represents every action buy wise and move wise I have done. The market_placeOrder amount of -14.231 is how much HIVE I have spent. I know that is minuscule for a lot of accounts, however for those of us that do not earn a lot of HIVE, in my mind it is a significant amount.

I started initially with only 2 APE tokens. As you can see in total I have bought 4.64 APE tokens.

I currently own 5 CPU's in the Ape Mining Club. My goal is to get that up to 10 CPU's then to move on to Cloud investing.

These views of the pivot table will help see where the APE Tokens came and went.

As you can see above I currently have 5.357 APE tokens.

I have earned in the two weeks a total of 0.717 APE tokens almost one whole APE.
apes owned.pngI currently have 0.357 sitting on the Hive-Engine and when it gets to a full one by either my buying a small amount or waiting to mine it, that token will be sent into apeminingclub to buy one more CPU.

Conclussion

I know some will see this as almost picking a penny up from off the sidewalk in the hopes of one day getting rich. That penny sitting in a jar on a desk top or shelf is not earning or working though, these little pennies are giving me more little pennies and as I continue to put them to work I get more little pennies.

If I do nothing but wait, in about 6 days I will have another full token to buy one more CPU.

I think APE Tokens and APE Mining Club will continue to be part of my Hive-Engine activities for some time to come

Wow you earned quite a bit of APE. Just holding APE in my wallet and not buying equipment has net me around 10% more ape from when it started.

I don't think you need to buy any of the equipment to get the rewards, and I am not sure how having equipment benefits one, but I figured I would learn as I go and grow.

I think you are earning more than me since I don't earn that much APE but earning something is better than earning nothing.

Yes something is better than nothing, one of the reasons I like these drip type funds like dhedge and index, lots of little tokens, but they add up and do eventually get sold. Archon is pretty good because you get liquid and staked rewards from them, so I leave the staked part alone, add to it on occasion, and sell the rest to buy more of the other tokens and increase the miner amount.

People forget that learning how to earn and save is more important than how much.

As your skills grow so do your bags.

Nicely done.

It is hard to get past that I don't have enough to invest mentality. It has taken me awhile but small amounts can be invested and growth can be seen, sometimes in a very short time span.

Buy it now!!! :OD

I would love to, and will likely get a small amount, maybe round up to my next whole APE, but my next goal is one more EDSM, and that is expensive so I need to save some funds for it.

Aw sorry, I thought you just needed one and I had a fraction kicking about.

Thank you, I just got done with my annoyance and sold some SPS so I could get me EDSM and level up o one APE, so thank you very much.

Your are totally welcome! :0)

I have always found the mining tokens to be somewhat iffy, it seems the more you own the better chance of winning the lottery so I have over the last 9 months been trying to figure them out. APE is my third mining type token, STEM was one of my first and I still only have two of them, so building miners up is a pretty slow process. APE is the first miner type that gives back miners to mine more sort of. It confuses me at times.

It can be confusing. I remember being gutted when I bought some and didn't think I was 'winning' enough but that was before I understood how they worked. They are quite expensive so even having a couple is good thing. Ape is much better as you get it daily for having it

I am playing a couple of games on hive now.
I started with dcity last year, and built a well enough city by investing and re-investing in it.

Then dcrops, then rising star.

All these games do not require much activeness. You can check them daily, or after a few days, maybe once a week(except rising star, which needs a few click every hour or so in the background, which is fun).

But the thing is, it's fun and you can earn a couple of dollars every now and then. Also, you get to know more people.

Thanks for sharing about the ape mining club, I will check it out, and see what's it about.

There are getting to be quite a few games, and that is good for the chain.

Pre-1982 pennies are worth .03usd.
Nickels are worth .06usd.
Might be worth keeping an eye on your change, too.

What little I get in change or find gets tossed in the scare the cat because she is annoying me plastic container. They are certainly not mint condition even if they were brand new when I got them.

But yes there are some very valuable coins out there.

I also get APE but by different way. I am holding the APE.
